SHAME!!! KANSAS CITY SUFFERS SNOW REMOVAL 2021 FAIL!!!

This morning we're confronted with the continued legacy of KCMO infrastructure disappointment and a peek at the "new normal" given fewer resources for basic services in the aftermath of the COVID-19 economic depression for small biz.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY SNOW REMOVAL HAS BEEN ABYSMAL DESPITE LESS THAN FIVE INCHES OF SNOW!!!

Unfortunately, most ladies scoff at less than five inches (Or so I've heard. 😏) but the pile up has brought this town to a virtual standstill.

Neighborhood streets will have to wait for a melt for better access and only a few main road are getting any reliable clearing.

Local newsies don't realize that so many of the stats they're being fed are fake given that city & contracted trucks regularly drive around with their plows up just to clock miles for their shift.

For KCMO residents, a simple look outside will confirm this report and spark fear of upcoming budget woes that will degrade city services even further.

  1. With this on top of covid, I've noticed that it's eerily quiet this morning. That's not a good sing for a city that usually does a lot of business for the holidays.

Guess that's the future for KC. People locked up like prisoners.

    1. Not gloating but you' know that streets in JoCo are pristine.

Not just main thoroughfares but some of the neighborhood streets, too. Maybe spending money on snow removal and now streetcars and tourists traps actually does have a benefit. KC voters should think about that in the future.

  2. KCMO never cleans off the snow and ice.

What in the hell DOES KCMO spend taxpayer dollars for ?

Trash everywhere, shitty water, broken sewage mains, potholed streets and yet the City has a 1% earnings tax and a 12% sales tax plus all of the Federal money it receives.

  3. Speaking of water, anybody else’s water taste like metal or something? It’s been bad for two months now, I called the city and got the usual run around after being on hold for ten minutes. I’ve never seen a city run as poorly as this one has the past few years.

  5. Any of you geriatric fucktards been out of your trailers in Frogville this month? It’s not bad at all. I saw several plows working yesterday. Roads weren’t bad at all. Sorry to burn your narrative. These fucktards on here never go anywhere, do they’re subjective to your propaganda Tony. The people who matter here know the truth.

  6. North of the River we received the snow removal we have come to expect from KCMO.

During the height of the snowfall yesterday morning, a City Truck blew down our residential street at about 40mph (25 speed limit), with the blade of the plow raised 4-5 inches off the ground. Sure enough the City's GPS mapping shows our street as "cleared".

But, over the years we've learned to expect no City Services in the Northland except for Tax Collections.

  7. Oh boy! Fresh meat to keep the geriatric shut-ins engaged! “The streets are so bad!” Bitch please, roads are fine. If these fucktards ever left the rest home, they would know.

  10. The snow route I live on is fine. If you're wondering where the plows were, they were doing my street at least 5 times on their way back to the salt shed.

  12. 9:44 doesn't work so he doesn't know how shitty snow and ice removal is in KCMO when we are making our daily work commute.

Once you hit state line road in Johnson County, the roads are miraculously cleared off.

If you live in your mother's basement like 9:44 and Joe Biden; you don't have a clue what is going on in the real world; only the little voices in his head.

  15. A small pickup truck came through my neighborhood yesterday morning when the snow was about an inch deep, an hour later you couldn’t tell he came through, I live on a hill so nobody on our street can get out until it pretty much melts or they come through and plow and put salt down. We’ve complained about this already to no avail.

I’ve lived in my neighborhood in the real east side for 25 years and it’s the same old shit with city hall and fucking up snow removal anywhere east of Cleveland. We know what’s going on with the crews, they get in the plows and go to their homes first, plow and salt their streets until it’s covered in salt and then maybe they’ll get to their assigned neighborhoods.

I was told once that prospect as an example (water dept plows at 18th and Brooklyn) always was clear because the crews would use up their salt going to their areas to plow so they would run out of salt faster and could come back to the shop and sit on their ass the rest of the day.

  16. Whaaa!!!! The streets are sooo bad!!!! Ehaaa!! Sure, I don’t really know because I don’t go anywhere but whaaa!!! My street still has snow on it, I mean it was plowed, but it’s not completely clear whaaa!!! I mean I know it’s below freezing, so it won’t melt all the way to the pavement, but whaaaa!!!!!!! But my streets! Whaaaa!!!!

  24. All the money for city snow removal was spent on the BLM street murals and jazzing up the Jazz District so you can go there and get robbed in a nicer atmosphere.

  25. Vote Yes on the Earnings Tax renewal, so we can keep spending tax money on entertainment districts, convention centers, convention hotels, parking garages for luxury condos and apartments, toy trains, stadiums and subsidize underperforming TIF's.

  26. I have to take it back, the snow plow just came back through my neighborhood, I am shocked.

Now if we can get the guy that plowed my neighborhood to straighten out his plow so he doesn’t bury the neighbors on the other side of the street. They go straight down the middle of the street and all the snow goes to one side and it gets deep, we don’t have cars on the street in my neighborhood so you’d think it would be a no brainer but hey, at least they came back through!

    ReplyDelete

  30. Are BLM and ANTIFA protesters out shoveling the walks of elderly, black residents so they can get out ?

    Didn't think so.

That would require charity and work versus screaming, spitting and setting property on fire.

  32. "All the unemployed can shovel snow, earn their stimulus check. Be productive."

Ummmm. Since the stimulus check will be going to everyone, employed or unemployed, who makes under $75K, shouldn't everyone who qualifies get out and shovel snow? In other words, get your lazy knee-jerk cracker ass off the computer and shovel some snow, shit-for-brains.
