Light Snow Ruins Kansas City Streets

Ahead of less than two inches of snow, 12th & Oak was desperate to spin their impending FAIL and bolster yet another new plan to clear the streets despite YEARS of neglect.

Reality check . . .

THIS MORNING KANSAS CITY STREETS ARE STILL GARBAGE AFTER NOTHING MORE THAN LIGHT SNOW!!! DRIVE CAREFULLY!!!!

As always, local news is a bit more generous:

KSHB: Light snow blankets Kansas City Wednesday morning

Fox4: SCHOOL CLOSINGS: January 27, 2021

KMBC: Road impacts expected as snow dies down Wednesday

Already we're hearing quite a few sirens rushing to crash scenes on mostly deserted streets. Meanwhile, this effort in support of public works is far more effective at managing social media sentiment than actually clearing neighborhood streets.

You decide . . .

  2. Mayor Lucas ruins Kansas City streets. There, I fixed it for you.

No trash pick up for some today because Mayor Lucas won't hire white people to help with the streets so the city is short on help. Trash people are going to have to clean the streets. How Pathetic when small rural towns with no money have their streets cleaned and ready to go. Lucas has tons of money coming in and he can't even clean the streets or fill the holes and then there's the nasty water. Didn't Sly James promise a better water treatment facility? Got screwed again didn't you?

  6. Anything, any City run by the Democrat Party is totally mis-managed and corrupt.

As the previous poster said, in rural areas private citizens clean their own streets and sidewalks because all federal funding goes to the big cities.

However, the rural areas are cleaner and much less crime.

  7. How difficult can it be to take a Bobcat, drop in a bucket of salt in the back of a truck and drive up and down streets spreading the salt.

    This isn't rocket science.

  8. In rural areas the tax money doesn’t go straight to welfare recipients like it does here. Most people in our shithole ghetto libs off welfare.
