"Seriously degraded" driving skills have nothing to do with it. Vehicles go around the crossing gates constantly at this location and have done so since long before the recent pandemic. It's kind of a desolate area and drivers know they won't be caught and ticketed for it... except when the train catches them like it did this time. If anything, it's surprising these collisions don't happen more often at this crossing. Too many people were morons before the pandemic, are still morons during it, and will continue to be so long after it ends.

As witnesses reported conflicting accounts of the accident, crime scene investigators are exploring the possibility that the driver may have been railroaded!!!

  5. Sounds like the driver got the first down,I'm surprised the road at that location didn't ruin his car first

  6. Cars don't go into trains without quite a few pieces being left over.
