Training begins today to add more drivers to KCMO snow removal plan
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Employees in the solid waste division of Kansas City, Missouri, spent Saturday morning learning how to operate snow plows, salt spreaders, follow a route and use the radio inside plow trucks. The training is part of a plan new city manager Brian Platt announced earlier in the month to improve the city's snow removal process.
Whew! Glad KC is on top of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCity should just treat known slick spots. Most of us should stay home when it snows. Hell, 6 days a season we can stay home save the city a bunch of money, they need it.
ReplyDeleteThat's right comrade. Mandatory quarantine for less than one week would be free of costs to the economy and save lots of room in the budget for additional social education classes.
Delete1. Lower Plow
ReplyDelete2. Drive Around
Does the solid waste department just deal with enormous turds??
ReplyDeleteBeats me, do you deal with them? If you do, I'd say yes.
DeleteHopefully the same street department personnel who have supposed to been clearing snow are not the trainers.
ReplyDeleteThat would be like having Bob Berdella train new police officers.
Unplowed streets are the result of white supremacy.
ReplyDelete9:09 - thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteYou did fail to add place snow plow in gear as step #2 drive forward.
We are talking about City workers here.
Genius. More snow plows, salt and snow plowers. Where has the council been for the past 10 years???
ReplyDeleteRacism...I am surprise the new city manager is not getting attacked for being a problem solver.
ReplyDeleteI thought we were all supposed to die of covid and then covid and then covid and then covid and then snow. Is it back to covid now? Put as many people as you want behind a plow in Kansas City. They will still fuck it up.
