Kansas City Snow & Ice FAIL Redux: Locals Rely On Warmer Temperatures, Not Plows

We're supposed to see highs in the 40s today and days after a snow storm, that'll clear the streets a lot faster than any effort hatched by city hall.

  1. Too bad we can't post pictures. I have one of the Water Dept. snow plow truck on Holmes. Driver asleep in the lane of traffic. Snow spreader wide open 3 feet of salt behind the truck. Honked my horn, he woke up and parked on Wyandotte in the lane of traffic for another hour.

  4. on snow and ice, it's tough because all the citizens bitch about it, and rightly so, but everyone forgets about it, so elected people are they gonna push and push city workers and make enemies for something that gets forgotten ...

    trash is way more important that snow and ice and so when it is disrupted, then it is a big deal, yes, but again, if disrupted by snow and ice, a temporary big deal, forgotten later.

    and no i don't like it either, but far worse to see laziness or inattention to street services by way of pothole repairs and street sweeping , when the weather warms, because , cliche though it may be, that snow does melt, but the other street shortcuts, a year round impact
