Kansas City Progressives Demand For Missouri Senator Hawley Resign After Deadly Capitol Insurrection: He Seyz He'll Never Apologize For Objecting To Biden Win

Today the social media consensus among cowtown Democratic Party leaders and progressives across the nation is that top ranking Republicans should resign following a historic riot at the Capitol.

Here's the roundup representing politicos and the cowtown intelligentsia . . .

Fox News: After Capitol riots, AOC demands Cruz, Hawley resign from Senate

Kansas City Star: If Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley had a conscience, he’d resign. He’ll have to be removed

The Pitch: On behalf of Missouri, Josh Hawley needs to go

The answer from the upstart MAGA leader came just a few moments ago . . .

KMBC: Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri says he will ‘never apologize’ for Electoral College objection

The push back doesn't directly address criticism but it gets the point across.

Moreover, and to put things in perspective, in this discussion it's often overlooked that Missouri is an overwhelmingly red state, voted for Prez Trump by a blowout margin and every statewide Democratic Party candidate was defeated in the last election.

Like it or not reality check: Senator Hawley still holds solid support among Missouri voters and recent Democratic Party challenges against the Show-Me State GOP hegemony have been completely rejected by the electorate.

Unlikely, he seems a lot like Trump. The only person he could ever beat in an election is someone as unpopular as Claire McCaskill. In much the same way that only Hillary could have lost to Trump.

  4. Hawley needs to go back to school and learn about Sedition- so that the next time he lines up with it and encourages it- which he clearly did outside of the Capital yesterday- he understands he has committed a felony in addition to violating the oath he took to defend and uphold the Constitution. He is a disgrace to Missouri and America.

  10. This from the Pitch -

" To denounce our Constitution’s free and fair elections—to repeatedly and falsely claim it “rigged,” as Trump and Hawley did, is to violate the spirit and word of that oath."

This is a the classical, "faulty premise" that reinforces the confirmation bias of Progressive-pet-rock-IQ-drooling-Hale-Bop intellects that hang on every utterance from their thought leaders.

Just because you say something out loud, or print it, is not prima facie evidence of veracity.

Here, again, are two web sites, one of them from Sharyl Attkisson who is still a respected journalist in left wing circles and made her bones on CBS.

    https://sharylattkisson.com/2020/12/what-youve-been-asking-for-a-fairly-complete-list-of-some-of-the-most-significant-claims-of-2020-election-miscounts-errors-or-fraud/

    https://menrec.com/a-detailed-running-list-of-fraud-charges-in-election-2020/

The 2020 election was a light year away from a "free and fair election" and in fact, was shot through with fraud, deceit, unconstitutional actions taken illegally by bureaucrats with no legislative oversight and outright criminality from the very onset.

The admonitions from the scofflaws in the media to just move along and pretend that nothing happened is preposterous.

Yesterday was just the beginning of a long slog that will bring on more and more violence. Washington DC is an enemy city, in an enemy country that now seeks illegal and forceful suzerainty over "flyover country" by way of that same illegal election. The sanctimony and phony quelle horreur exclamations from the media scum who support the Fascist fucks that seek a one party, Chinese Communist type rule, is nothing more than theater.

Fuck the Pitch, fuck the Kansas City Star and fuck the criminals who voted for and support the "Ends justify the means" Democrat/Fascist Biden crime family and concomitant ersatz Communists now set to ascend illegally into power.

Hawley is not going anywhere and will, I hope, soon switch parties to a new third party that leaves behind, the RINO scum who betrayed us all this week.

  11. @5:51 Hawley may not be able to run for Office in the future.

If the new Attorney General does press on with the Sedition charges that seem both apt and likely, Trump, Cruz, Hawley, Giuliani and the others who fomented the actions of those who committed the seditious acts are equally guilty and as subject to the provisions of the law, in which case the penalties can be threefold... fines may be levied in any amounts set by the Courts, prison sentences of up to twenty years can be imposed, and loss of United States Citizenship can also be imposed (as it was in three instances in 1945).

Hawley may have been able to skirt the Missouri's Residency requirements when he ran for Missouri Attorney General, but a record as a felon and/or loss of US citizenship would make him ineligable for any Elective Office.

Hawley's fate, like that of Trump and the others, may rest on the level of good will that Attorney General Garland has toward Republicans in general.
Hmmmm.... wonder what that might be Mitch?

"Just because you say something out loud, or print it, is not prima facie evidence of veracity." as someone recently posted here.

Pleas take a moment to muse on that before you post another rant riddled with unproven, evidence-lacking, inconsistent drivel abou Election Fraud.

Yes, there are suspicious signs, the greatest of which is the inane idea that Trump was able to garner more that a One Million Popular votes after his record of four years of abject failure, but again there is no evidence that Voter Fraud in order to increase Trump's ludicrous popular vote total actually happened.

  16. 6:38 is - IS prima Facie of the expectation that the Federal Power in Washington DC, an enemy city, in an enemy country, will, in fact, seek, if possible, to persecute/prosecute Hawley as they did so many times over the last 4 years. Selective prosecution in a tow tiered justice system that focuses on political enemies and seeks not the truth, but convictions in order to further political power/agenda and silence anyone who is a threat to the Fascist scum that now run the country.

In a way, 6:38 reveals a "Consciousness of Guilt" without knowing it. He/she expects coming political persecutions/prosecutions and does indeed think the "Ends Justify The Means". It is an admission that we all understand, liberal and conservative alike, that those people on the right who, in spite of media bias/hatred, Deep State machinations, Big Tech de-platforming/obfuscation and suspension still manage to achieve high station, have targets on their backs and live in the crosshairs of constant threats of imprisonment, slander, calumny and bankruptcy by way of the power of the American Progressive Imperium.

The calls just today on ABC, in the Congress and all over social media for the PURGE of Trump supporters -

    https://en-volve.com/2021/01/07/abc-news-calls-on-democrats-to-purge-america-of-trump-supporters-conservatives/

    - should be taken seriously. There will be legislation introduced to in one form or another, reeducate those people with the temerity to voice support for candidates not approved by the Deep State/Media/Big Tech/Fascist scum who rule over us.

Keep this in mind as you push to silence, intimidate, suppress, arrest, incarcerate, persecute/prosecute those whose opinions you disapprove of-

  17. Excuse me, but nobody is asking Josh Hawley to apologize for an Electoral College Objection - what we want is his apology for his part in fomenting a seditious attack on the United States Constitution and the Government of the United States.

His petty little "objections" were nothing but a political ploy designed to appeal to the more rabid level of those who support Trump's attempt to overthrow the Government while spouting cynically false claims of Patriotism!

Wrap yourselves in the Flag and wave a Bible in the air while stamping on the throats of the American People like Trump does, Josh!

That may be the stupidest post of the week.

Hawley followed the legal procedures required to make his objection before the Senate. You may not like his actions, but they stay well within the lines of every statute.

Following the rule of law may be viewed as sedition by the leftist press - as well as those whose education begins and ends with celebrity Twitter rants - but not by any court in the land (at least, for now)

  20. If there were significant election fraud or other shenanigans in the 2020 election, how come the Republicans' crack lawyers can't come forward with a tiny shred of evidence to present to judges - both Democratic and Republican appointed? Either the Republicans are grossly incompetent, or there is no "there" there, or most obviously BOTH! Republicans have abandoned the "selfish rich" element of their constituency and gone whole hog to the delusional, conspiratorial, gullible, white-trash cohort. Hug that confederate flag and show us how ignorant, illiterate, cravenly cowardly you can be.

  40. I withdrew my planned donation worth over well over $5,000,000. to Rockhurst High School when I learned they failed to teach their students how to respect the law. They taught Hawley a bunch of liberal B.S. and now Rockhurst is NOT getting anything from my estate. Not 1 penny. Rockhurst is complicit in the Capital's attack. How hard is it to teach right and wrong. Well Rockhurst failed.

  41. Actually that photo gives Joshie a kind of junior Nazi look. A picture is worth a thousand "Heil Hitler" salutes.

  42. A senator raising an objection on the Senate floor is not sedition. It can never be sedition. This claim is ridiculous on its face. The Bill of Rights protects the peoples’ right to assemble, to petition the government for redress of grievances, and to speak freely. Anyone who would deny those rights to the American people is the one who is committing sedition.

    ReplyDelete
  43. "Hawley needs to go back to school and learn about Sedition...." Would that same suggestion apply to all the Democrats who objected to the election certification process in 2005 and 2017? More than a dozen Democrats did in those years exactly what Hawley did in 2021.

    ReplyDelete
  44. 12:36, not that I believe your cock and bull story about a significant donation to Rockhurst H.S., but you should be aware the situation is even worse than you imagine. Senator Tim Kaine (D-Leftist VA) also graduated from The Rock. Kaine not only can't tell right from wrong, he can't tell up from down or find his butt with both hands. Hold back that donation and gift it to Antifa!

  45. Hey 9:03 because it was horse shit. Dumb fucks like yourself have been duped into thinking there's some fraud happening when there isn't. Trump knows all he has to do is keep repeating horse shit and you fucking morons will eat it up. Hawley, he knows better. He doesn't give a fuck about anything but being President one day and he figures his path is through dip shits like yourself.

Ask yourself this, if fraud was so prevalent, why did so many who were planning to object to the certification decide not to after the riots? Because they knew their bullshit claims, and yes, they're bullshit were causing riots. If it was true, they wouldn't have buckled.

No got get some fucking mental help.

    ReplyDelete
  46. 9:05 - in a twist of irony, those objections were gaveled down by none other than Joe Biden.

    ReplyDelete
  47. ^^^There is literally no comparison whatsoever that any sane person can make to the 'mousy' little objections the Democrats made in 2016/2017 and what occurred over the past few weeks leading up to what occurred on 1/6. I know Trumptards like to tell themselves this but there just isn't.

    ReplyDelete
  48. No comparison? In 2005 and 2017, various Democrats objected to the certification process because of perceived election irregularities in various states. In 2021 Sen. Hawley objected to the certification states because of perceived election irregularities in various states (principally but not only, Pennsylvania).

Now tell us how those are different.
