KCMO projects $50-million deficit in current budget, blames COVID-19 pandemic

  1. And so what is the purpose of the city sending out this information? The city officials spend money supporting rioters so if their intentions are to get state or federal money contact the Gov and tell him what has been going on in our city and tell him NO MONEY! Blame COVID 19 ? But yet the mayor sucks the ass of the chiefs and goes out without a mask into crowds of people and then shuts down everyone else.

  2. Only $50 million?
With all the pandering to insiders and special groups, subsidizing "developers", especially those who mention THE streetcar, pouring millions into such "projects" as 18th and Vine, only to see the money disappear into thin air, and all the other upside-down priorities of the gang at 12th and Oak, $50 million wouldn't last a month.
And clowncilman Bunch wants lots and lots more accident-causing bike lanes!
    Go big or go home!

  3. Get it from the "peaceful protestors" you supported. Or get it from the restaurants and other small businesses you fools closed and continue to close. No more pet projects for awhile.

  5. KCMO seems to have plenty of money to run empty streetcars up & down Main Street all day and all night,

  6. The 50 million probably doesn't include the underfunded pensions.
