KCMO Municipal Court awarded $1 million grant for domestic violence programs
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City, Missouri, Municipal Court hopes to to break the cycle of violence for first-time offenders and young adults involving domestic violence cases. On Thursday, the court announced it has received a $1 million grant from the U.S.

Actually, these funds might be more effective if they were used to buy shelters and job training for women. Sad thing is, most of it's just lost in administration costs.
