Kansas City Faith Leaders Call for Sen. Josh Hawley To Resign Immediately

Faith leaders across Missouri are calling for the immediate resignation of U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Missouri, for his support of those involved in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Missouri Faith Voices, a multi-faith coalition of 120 congregations across the state, said Hawley's role in undermining the election poses a danger to the country's democracy as long as he is in office.

  3. Faith community ? These are the same tools that call Emanual Cleaver a reverend and go ballot harvesting at old folk homes. Disgraceful. People in glass houses...

  4. "He said that his aim wasn’t to change the election outcome but instead to start a discussion about 'election integrity.'

'That was my stated intention the entire time, and this notion that Ted Cruz, or me or the 140 House Republicans were trying to overturn an election, that is a lie,' said Hawley."

And yet that is total bullshit. Weird. He, Trump, Cruz, and Trump's other enablers CLEARLY intended to overthrow the results of the election with or without the help of Mike Pence. That's a fact--not even an "alternative fact."

  6. 7:24. & 7:29 are idiots.

He said that exact same thing from day one, there’s videos to prove it, it was ok when obummer and hiltlery said it in 2004.

Fools and idiots can run and hide from the truth but it still doesn’t change it.

  9. 8:10: Oh, sure. And when Trump and his enablers were addressing the mob that broke into the Capitol, they all said, "Our aim isn’t to change the election outcome but instead to start a discussion about 'election integrity.' So you march down there and show Congress you want that discussion about election integrity right now." And of course, Trump advised his followers he'd be right there with them just before he hauled ass back to the White House and watched the "discussion of election integrity" on television.

And the mob was so intent on discussing election integrity that they stormed into the Capitol, threatened Congress, committed vandalism including shitting all over the place, and were ready to hang Mike Pence for not adequately discussing election integrity.

And then the Big Bear said to the Little Bear, "Who's been sleeping in my porridge."

  12. Josh is the last person I would call a christian. He meets none of the requirements and characteristics of a christian per the beatitudes.

  13. Before I even read the article, I knew the faith leaders where going to be blacks who are biased against whites like Josh Hawley. Despicable. Where were they when Maxine Watters was calling for violence against Republicans?

  15. Reverend Stone1/29/21, 1:38 AM

    Reverend Bishop Stone here.
I go on record my support for Senator Hawley, and perhaps president Hawley in 2024

I prayed and asked gawd, in my backyard, for guidance. He didn't have much to say Ilike all gawds) but I sensed his blessed, and hearty, approval.

I also felt the presence of Saint George (Carlin), spiritually patting me on the back. Thank You Sen. Hawley.

    In gawd I remain yours:
    Reverend Stone

  20. There is a reason that the ‘faith communities’ were not listed because it would have been a list of what and who? No one knows these malcontents and no one cares what partisan political garbage spews out of their mouths.

  21. Around every corner, there is a racist white man to blame for your problems and bad decisions. We can finally blame white men and their guns for the disproportionate black on black crimes in cities like Kansas City, Chicago, etc., and our failure to address it. We can rename streets, which will surely pacify criminals and make them stop shooting each other. Folks, this is the mentality of the left.
