The dark days of Winter get worse in Kansas City as the local homicide starts again.
Here's the narrative that include a tragic description of economic reality on local streets . . .
"KCPD officers were dispatched shortly before 1 p.m. on Friday to a reported shooting in the 6500 block of East 10th Street near the intersection with Fuller Avenue. One man was located at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders declared the victim dead at the scene.
"Neighbor’s indicate that the house did not have any power, and there were many comings and goings at all hours of the day and night at the residence. One neighbor indicated that recently the house was the scene of a drive-by shooting."
This is the 2nd KCMO homicide so far compared to 4 at this time last year.
