Johnson County extends COVID-19 emergency declaration, mask mandate through end of March

The Johnson County Board of Commissioners extended its COVID-19 emergency declaration on Thursday. The extended order means the countywide face mask mandate will stay in place through the end of March.The new declaration in Johnson County coincides with the state emergency order that was recently extended by Kansas Gov.

  9. Yet I can go to Peculiar or Harrisonville and eat out or go to a bar with no mask and fully support their robust economy.
    And their Covid levels are better than KC.
    Weird. Mayor 10-10-10’s legacy is shut down biz and rely on Wrecks Archer.

    And less people died in KC overall in 2020 than 2019.
