Kansas City police pay $725,000 excessive force settlement
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Kansas City has agreed to a $725,000 settlement of an excessive force complaint filed after a police officer allegedly forced his knee onto the neck of a teenager who prosecutors said was not resisting arrest. The settlement arises from a confrontation in a fast-food restaurant in November 2019.
That wasn't excessive. The kid was still alive. He deserved worse.
ReplyDeleteFuck off Nazi scum.

ReplyDeleteI’m sure mayor mcdumbo is friends with the family and just told the city manager to write them a check. If we had competent leadership and lawyers this wouldn’t have happened, now these dumbasses will by a fleet of Escalades with temp tags, shit tons of drugs and flashy clothes and it will be gone in less than a year. Brilliant job lickass.

ReplyDeleteMust have been a black kid, as they do it to white people every day and you never hear a peep of it nor do you hear of any settlement. Weird
ReplyDeleteThe KCMO city attorney's office is terrified to take any case to trial. It would be worth the money to farm out defense of these shakedown cases to a competent private law firm.
ReplyDelete...What would Arvid Ousley have to say about this?
