COVID Vaxx Rejected In Kansas

A local healthcare worker push back story has been politely ignored by local media but deserves attention by TKC readers who want a more complete view of the news scene.

Kansas nurses refuse to give COVID-19 vaccines

Coffee County in Kansas has roughly 8,500 residents, but they won't be getting their COVID-19 shots from the county health department's four nurses. Department chief Lindsay Payer and her staffers have opted out of giving the injections because they have doubts about the safety of the Moderna vaccine, which the county is offering, local TV station WIBW reported.

They are not doctors or pharmacists or immunologists.
They cannot give an expert opinion because they are not experts.

    "It isn't safe"

Neither are you, you freakin' lunatic.
How do you know that it's not safe?

  10. The science says this vaccine is safe. These are obviously not scientists. Nursing jobs in that area must be plentiful because if I were the Health director and these four worked of me, they would be terminated.

  11. An interesting backstory on this...
In March/ April a Coffey County nursing home had a large cluster outbreak in the Life Care Center Burlington nursing home. This was one of the first big clusters in the midwest.

*The cluster led to 64 cases with 7 deaths in a tiny county. Payor was a spokesperson regarding the situation.

*The covid response team (I believe the same nurses who won’t administer the “new technology” were honored at one of the council meetings this fall. In the picture they are standing together without masks or social distancing.

    * November, the county commissioners voted against the mask mandate - against the recommendation of their long time health director, who then resigned. https://www.thedailybeast.com/they-voted-down-masks-so-this-small-town-doctor-in-coffey-county-kansas-quit

My understanding is that the Health Director left the call after he made the recommendation, and the county attorney convinced the councilmen that the mask ordinance would cause too much work for the attny to enforce.

It's pathetic the way everyone thinks they can fact check the scientists.

These "nurses" should be immediately fired.
