Will Royster Kansas City Comeback After Hong Kong Gun Hot Mess

Apropos for #TBT we followup on a former Kansas City politico who recently earned the media spotlight near the epicenter of the pandemic.

For those who don't remember . . .

Kansas City pilot detained at Hong Kong airport after gun found in luggage

In his defense . . .

Former pilot says it’s common for pilots to be armed after local pilot detained in Hong Kong

The latest from a denizen of our blog community . . .

"I'm pretty sure Will is back in Kansas City but he still faces problems with the TSA and trouble with United Airlines.  No idea how that will turn out but I hope he doesn't lose his job in this economy."

However . . .

Whilst Mr. Royster might be hesitant to return into the political fray after a tumultuous first try, Northeast insiders notice a resurgence of conservative new(er) gentry denizens in Northeast who seem to be looking for leadership from longstanding denizens of this urban core neighborhood . . . Like it or not (and many don't), Mr. Royster fits that description.

  1. If it’s that dangerous to go to Hong Kong maybe they should stop flying there? Just sayin.

  2. Pilots do fly with guns. Regular people can place guns in locked boxes and fly with then in the separated storage compartments in the bottom of the planes. Thats always been the law.

  3. "Northeast insiders notice a resurgence of conservative new(er) gentry denizens in Northeast who seem to be looking for leadership from longstanding denizens of this urban core neighborhood" and just where is this supposed to be happening?

The only new residents moving into the Northeast are Section 8 residents and recent immigrants living 12=15 to a house.

  5. 2:42, wrong. Drive through the neighborhoods some late afternoon or weekend morning and see all the young families out for a stroll.

  6. Pilots can only carry a gun if they are licensed as a Federal Flight Officer. Royster was not licensed to carry nor was he a Federal Flight Officer.

  7. His kids are a psychological mess ! Lets hope they are getting some professional mental help. He has lost almost 100% of his respect and most want nothing to do with this ongoing circus show. My guess is he will now try to sue Hong Kong for $90 billion dollars LOL.
