TKC MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS DUNKS ON ANTI-MASK TWITTER TROLL WITH SIX FOLLOWERS!!!

Just moments ago the mayor of Kansas City shared his stunning wit and casual charm against an "anti-masker" via social media take down. Now he's earning quite a few accolades and support from thousands of dedicated fans.

The mayor was tagged with this sloppy bit of photo shop . . .

His answer . . .

"I am glad you are wearing a mask though!"

It's a fine exchange and we're glad that Mayor Q is embracing social media for greater constituent communication.

However, we notice that people Kansas City and throughout the metro are overwhelmingly willing to wear masks and comply with orders even when they don't agree. Most locals are essentially good people and want to obey the rules. At the very least, it's not worth the hassle in order to make the life of some low level clerk miserable.

Moreover . . .

THE ACCOUNT CHALLENGING MAYOR Q ONLY HAS SIX FOLLOWERS AND WAS JUST CREATED IN SEPTEMBER!!!

Of course we wouldn't dare accuse the mayor of a harmless bit of Internets theater.

However, this is important more important than clever Twitter banter . . .

There is little "anti-mask" sentiment in Kansas City. Instead, there are reasonable, legitimate and serious questions about the COVID curfew that have been unanswered by Mayor Lucas. Instead engaging in an forthright discussion, the Lucas administration and his supporters reframe criticism as mere "anti-mask" rhetoric when, in fact, local small biz  are more than willing to follow safety protocols yet still reject the curfew.

Again, we invite the mayor or anyone else to explain to us how COVID-19 is more dangerous after 10PM.

Moreover, challenging a flimsy, unsubstantiated and draconian curfew against law abiding adults who are more than willing to follow safety precautions is a matter of preserving liberty and constitutional rights, not merely a partisan debate.

You decide . . .

  1. Mayor doesn't want to debate, he wants to enforce his will and prove his worth to party leaders. That has always been his goal.

Wow! At this rate, they'll have enough signatures to put the mayor's recall on the ballot.... never!

  5. Lucas thinks he's important with the globalists and he's NOT. There was a virus but it's been blown up way bigger than it is the lies of people dying are BS. You can't control a virus. Quinton Lucas has been out without a mask same as every other lying politician that is into this act of war against the American people.

BTW if the hospitals in KC are as full as they say with their scare tactics then where is the bastard Mahomes baby going to be born? In the streets with the rest of the BLM and ANTIFA Anti American communists????

  7. The dark web has spoken.
Many have chosen to avoid KC because of mayor 10-10-10.
They chose to patronize other nearby cities that are much smarter.
Blue Springs, Shawnee, Overland Park and Lees Summit had many diners last night and this weekend and the Country Club Plaza, where Mayor 10-10-10 let violence flourish... who ate there?

As Mayor 10-10-10 joins the Newsomes, Cuomos and Murphys... other cities will do well as residents move out and give the middle finger to higher taxes and just horrible decisions.

Even the KC Star belittled one county this morning that chose to not have a mask mandate- while conveniently ignoring a lower death rate and those statistics for everywhere else. Remember- most infections are symptom-less and help herd immunity- but you won’t read about that.

Just mask up and vote by eating out at which cities you feel have the best leadership.

Good luck Mayor 10-10-10. Tell Murphy and Newsome hi. And thank Cuomo for all the nursing home deaths he created.

  8. If the casinos and titty bars are still open then everything should be open after 10 PM. The Rona only comes out after the restaurants close at 10 pm. The casinos and titty bars are immune to Rona.

  10. What happens after 10:00PM?

People lose their inhibitions when they drink, their judgement is impaired & they make poor decisions.

The virus isn't more dangerous after 10:00PM, but the people are less careful.

9:03 "... the lies of people dying are BS."

People are dying. That is not a lie, liar.

  19. POPULAR DELUSIONS AND THE MADNESS OF CROWDS: Embracing Group-Think and the Abandonment of Critical Analysis

The Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) declared a public health emergency on January 31, 2020, under section 319 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 247d), in response to COVID-19.
    From
President Trump signed a national emergency declaration on March 13, 2020, retroactive to March 1, 2020.

Biden has promised to impose a national facemask mandate through the first 100 days of his term.
100 days from Inauguration Day January 20, 2021 would be Friday April 30, 2021.
This represents 15 months since the initial public health emergency was declared. Are you worn down yet? Ready to surrender more of your rights if they just keep us safe?

Have you noticed how this "pandemic" timeline continually gets extended, with officials currently talking about having most Americans vaccinated by Summer (July) 2021? The NY Times recently wrote "Once that happens, life will still not immediately return to normal, partly because the vaccines are not 100 percent effective." This pandemic timeline is potentially infinite, and all indications are that they plan to extend it as long as possible. It's the "new normal."

Does that make sense to you? What science is this based upon? Do use of facemasks even make a difference in community virus transmission? Let's ask the "experts":

Dr. Anthony Fauci -- a self-confessed liar to the American public, who has been a reliable bureaucratic tool for the machinations of multiple administrations.
On March 8, 2020 Fauci spoke to 60 Minutes: “There’s no reason to be walking around with a mask. When you’re in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. And, often, there are unintended consequences — people keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.”
This statement was not a misunderstanding or misinterpretation of his professional opinion, it was a frank offering based upon his medical training and lifetime of experience in public health.

The Centers For Disease Control (CDC) -- On its website, the CDC advised “If you are NOT sick: You do not need to wear a facemask unless you are caring for someone who is sick (and they are not able to wear a facemask).”

    ReplyDelete
  20. World Health Organization (WHO) -- said there wasn’t enough medical evidence to support members of the public wearing a mask, unless they were sick or around people with the coronavirus. "In areas with community transmission, we advise that people aged 60 years or over, or those with underlying conditions, should wear a medical mask in situations where physical distancing is not possible," said WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams publicly shared in FEB/MAR 2020 that, "You can increase your risk of getting it by wearing a mask if you are not a health care provider. Folks who don't know how to wear them properly tend to touch their faces a lot and actually can increase the spread of coronavirus." In a tweet, he urged people to stop buying masks as they were not effective for the general public and noted that the increased demand in masks puts medical professionals at risk.

Danmask Study (reported November 2020) -- "In this community-based, randomized controlled trial conducted in a setting where mask wearing was uncommon and was not among other recommended public health measures related to COVID-19, a recommendation to wear a surgical mask when outside the home among others did not reduce, at conventional levels of statistical significance, incident SARS-CoV-2 infection compared with no mask recommendation."

Does the SARS-CoV-2 virus actually have more to do with geopolitical/economic considerations than public health, and did some people know about it in-advance?

The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hosted Event 201, a high-level pandemic exercise on October 18, 2019, in New York, NY.
    From
If you watch the highlights reel from this war-game exercise simulation it's amazing how prescient their scenario has played out. Please note attendees like Avril Haines, who has become Biden's pick for Director of National Intelligence, and the discussion of internet censorship to control "misinformation."
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoLw-Q8X174
After you've watched the above, it may also be helpful to your understanding to review the 2011 film "Contagion" which pre-conditioned audiences to a bat-borne virus originating in China transforming into a worldwide pandemic.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5VfNKCQF60&list=PLyTjqMK5RfMJVRSGZ7iz_glAIxE5is6Oq&index=4&t=0s
But then, I'm getting ahead of myself.

If your critical thinking skills are rusty from disuse, and you'd prefer to have professional media propagandists tell you what to think, then just keep repeating to yourself "no one could have foreseen this pandemic coming."

    1. Dear 11:24/25:

The scientific method is based on availabile knowledge. As more knowledge is obtained, opinions often change based on that information.

So that's why things said in March don't necessarily apply later.

If you want, I can use pictures to explain.

  22. If you want to know why masks are not taken seriously, talk to your beloved Dr. Fauci. Had he not played politics from day one and then flip flopped you wouldn't have the opposition that he created. Besides, about half of the people that wear the damned things don't wear them right anyway. Just get "I care more than you do!" tattooed to your forehead and leave the rest of us alone. The tattoo will protect you every bit as well as a mask does.

  23. Heard on the local news last week - for a one week period there was an average of four deaths every thirty seconds from covid 19 with-in the seven county metropolitan area.

Sounds serious to me. if you don't choose to wear a mask you are some type of individual who has some sort of problem breathing through one hence the complaining about it and ashamed to admit it.

Is it your fault that you are not able to wear a mask comfortably without breathing problems? Probably not.

  24. maybe i heard that wrong - seems like a lot of deaths. maybe that was cases, or another metro area elsewhere or that was nationwide deaths.

it can't be eight deaths per minute or 480 per hour unless that was a report about nationwide.

  28. 2:08, when Fauci and others originally said masks do not help, there was no observational or experimental evidence contrary. Now they say masks do help. But I have not seen any empirical evidence to back that up. One Danish study seems to contradict it. What do you have that supports Fauci's new advice?

  29. If the virus is as dangerous as they say why was it a statistical failure in renowned shut holes like India ? Haiti ? Puerto Rico or anywhere Africa ?

  31. Masks are junk science.

  32. The only RCT that has been done to investigate the efficacy of masks is a Danish study that showed that masks worn my healthy people have no statistical impact on infection rates. That is the science as it stands now.

9:19 or Mayor LetThemEatCake or Wrecks Archer or whoever you are, do you think the people dining in restaurants or sharing company over a drink at 10 pm suddenly become change into irrational fools? Do you think it is justified to destroy a whole industry because some people may act stupidly? Do you think it was justified to lock down all of KC because QL saw a picture of some kids not social distancing at Westport back in March? Do you actually believe even one life has been saved by these dictatorial and spiteful actions? You are not only wrong but unAmerican if you do.
