KCPD activity closes streets, halts Streetcar downtown

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police are investigating an "apparent suicide" in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred at a parking garage near 10th and Main streets, according to KCPD. Streets in the area were closed to allow for an investigation and RideKC announced that it had shut down KC Streetcar service in the area as well.

  18. This exact scenario has happened before. Downtown suicide derails streetcar service for hours. So, maybe it's a good thing that so few people depend on the street car.

  19. If any of you guys have ever had a loved one that has gone through mental illness You wouldn't know how tragic it really is.The mental health system failed her. When a person chooses to take their own life They act like everything is okay,They never let you know what's really going on with them.This happened to be my child That you're talking about.
