Tuesday: How Black Bears Became A 'Huge Conservation Success Story' In Missouri

Once thriving in this area, habitat changes and logging by European settlers in the late 1800s drastically decreased the population of black bears.

It’s racist to have a hunting season for black bears. Do we have a season for white bears? How come it’s ok to shoot a defenseless black bear but not a white one?
