Scary scene this week from the suburbs deserves attention as sketchy criminal teams target golden ghetto homes with more car than house . . . Check-it . . .
'Heat of the Moment:' Olathe couple stops car theft outside their home
OLATHE, KS (KCTV) -- Police arrested three men suspected of trying to steal a car from the wrong home. On Thursday morning, Amy Dryer was in between errands when she did something she almost never does. She left her SUV running in the driveway while she ran in to grab something from her house.
In a lot of Johnson county cities it's against the law to leave your keys in the ignition and for damn sure to leave a running car unattended. Ole Amy is probably going to be served up a ticket. In Olathe it's,

Unattended Motor Vehicle; Ignition; Key and Brakes.
No person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle shall permit it to stand unattended without first stopping the engine, locking the ignition, removing the key from the ignition and effectively setting the brake thereon and, when standing upon any grade, turning the front wheels to the curb or side of the highway. (K.S.A. 8-1573)
^^This blaming the victim never ends.
ReplyDeleteThose three guys just needed a ride to their priesthood studies.
ReplyDeleteOnly better ending would be three dead thieves.
ReplyDelete^^or even better would be if the home owners were geezers and they got killed and got their car stolen.
ReplyDeleteThe gun-owning crime victims are HEROES. Thank God for responsible, gun-owning citizens. We pick up the slack where the police cannot be everywhere. Now, would somebody please report the race of all participants? Just curious! 5:12 does not play for our team.
ReplyDelete3:06 Sure they were victims but victims who themselves broke the law. So in this case both sides of the crime are guilty of wrong doing.
ReplyDelete...............................Warning!! Whoop! Warning!! Whoop. Whoop!! Warning!!
ReplyDeleteUnemployed basement BLM imbecile at 5:12 and Alpinista are both awake and active. Be prepared for amazing stupidity. Remarks may include such terms as: CHUD, geezer, MAGAT, Maude, Trumptard and weird. Often starts with two or more silly ^^ marks. It is strongly recommended one should ignore what he/she/it posts as it may cause permanent brain damage.
those Johnson county Republicans will never stop stealing cars.
ReplyDeleteShoot them. Kansas Castle Law would have covered it.
ReplyDeleteWould have saved the tax payers money.
5:12. You are a sissy. Anytime. Any place. I would love to knock you out.,
ReplyDeleteHey, 6:07, what law did the crime victims break? I have Kansas Statutes Annotated open and ready. Go!
ReplyDelete6:07 - People with functioning brains realize the party that breaks criminal law should have their asses handed to them versus the party that breaks a misdemeanor law. Don't be a dumbass.
ReplyDeleteIf you join the NRA you get a column monthly of stories of legally armed citizens who successfully wounded or better yet, killed, attackers, and suffered no great legal consequence. Death to criminals! America, fight the evildoer! PS, so glad I live in Kansas and left MO!
ReplyDelete^^and yet you spend all of your time on a blog about MO. What a fucking loser. Weird.
ReplyDeleteIf the car owners had lived in Jackson County the prosecutor would likely have arrested them for pointing a gun at someone. In Missouri it appears you are not permitted to defend your property.
ReplyDelete5:12 is your basic basement dwelling man boy. His definition of geezer is anyone able to get out of their mom's basement and get a job. He's good for about ten replies a day.
ReplyDeleteTrump met with Sidney Powell and staff yesterday to consider MARTIAL LAW across the USA and MILITARY ENFORCEMENT. THEN RETAIN HIS PRESIDENCY. It was a screaming match! Thankfully 2 Army leaders today signed a join statement that no military forces would comply and its is NOT their task. No martial law!
ReplyDeleteTrump wanted to REMOVE ALL GUNS, FROM EVERYONE, YES YOU, DURING MARTIAL LAW.
