  4. Mckneely knows he can’t win this, it’ll have to be eliminated simply because the city can’t afford to fight a battle they can’t win.

  6. In other words, the city has no hard evidence that minorities' and women's business were excluded from public contracting. The entire program is premised on the assumption that because those businesses did not get public business at the rate the city thinks they should have, they must have been excluded due to race or sex discrimination. But there are lots of other potential reasons for the shortfall: size of the enterprise, number of years in business, track record of successful projects, reputation for competence. I would be shocked to learn that the city has considered those confounding factors.

    1. Sorry, 'racism' is now meaningless, as it now is only used as a political insult by the left.

  14. Fair my ass! They’ve never been fair. For him to stand in front of media and claim that it is just shows his innate character of lying, manipulating. It has never been fair. Nothing, and I mean nothing, the City does in respect to its citizens is carried out fairly or impartially. Nothing. Black people getting up telling bold faced lies maybe helps people digest the truth but that has never, and will never work for me. Ask the City about East Patrol and I dare you to find one, single person that isn’t John Modest Miles, that thought anything about that project was carried out fairly.

  17. Yeah, Mark One Electric has benefitted with city contracts for years under clever classifications, and when the Pitch pointed out how other qualifying business were excluded, they adjusted. Now they’ve propped up other smaller proxy contractors which they control to gain access. Any big city related project, they’re involved. Cerner, Kauffman, stadiums, Bartle Hall, hotels, the bottoms, downtown real estate, the airport which they firmly pursued and now they own the Star’s building.

Funny how he thought this was like all his other given to him jobs where he didn’t have to do anything or actually show up, he clearly isn’t prepared for the work load required of the job.
