'It's not a protection'? Kansas Republicans risking lives with refusal to wear masks

Some Republican lawmakers in Topeka are apparently willing to risk not just their own lives, but those of their colleagues and of all those who work in the statehouse by continuing to refuse to wear masks.

  1. And as usual the commie red star gets it all wrong, why must they be such lying fools?

Fun fact! All Kansas problems with covid are in dimwit run cities like Wichita and Johnson county, interesting that they left that part out isn’t it!

    Weird.

  4. The best thing about the pandemic now is it’s back to killing geriatrics en mass. So please Boomers, don’t wear a mask, congregate with anyone who will have you, and remember, this nothing more than a Democratic hoax! Get the Rona and die!!!!

  7. so, the next day after the zoom meeting............ all participants decide to refuel their automobiles for the week and after they're through they neglect to wash their hands after handling the fuel pump nozzle handle that was used by others.

  8. Interesting how the KC rag doesn't put this story about a republican behind the pay wall like 95% of their stories and editorials!

    Agenda?

But, these lawmakers are idiots. I'm a republican, I wear a mask and I encourage people I know to wear them. Masks do work, are they 100%...NO, but, they can reduce the risk and that's what we need to get done.

So, as a Kansas resident I hope these so called "leaders" get the message and not put others at risk!!

  10. Masks are a tiny inconvience. And means so much to others that have lost loved ones. Dont be a narcissist. Your face aint that pretty and we dont need to see it. Wear a mask. Get alone with your fellow man.

  11. Donald Trump's White House head of security had his lower leg and toes on the other leg chopped off due to a 4 month case of Covid19. He never wore a mask. Google the bloody story. He actually has a go fund me to pay expenses. Google it.

  12. A White House official who fell ill with COVID-19 in September is recovering after three months in the hospital, though he lost his right foot and lower leg in his battle against the virus, according to a friend.

Crede Bailey, the director of the White House security office, was the most severely ill among dozens of COVID-19 cases known to be connected to the White House. Bailey’s family has asked the White House not to publicize his condition, and President Donald Trump has never publicly acknowledged his illness.
