GoFundMe for KC woman caught in shooting crossfire exceeds goal
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City, Missouri, woman whose van was destroyed after being caught in the crossfire of a Thanksgiving shooting will soon have a new vehicle. The Jackson County's Prosecutor's Office started a GoFundMe campaign on Wednesday to replace Danielle Benson's minivan, and it exceeded the $10,000 goal by Sunday night.
Instead of prosecuting criminals, the Jackson County Prosecutors Office is focusing their efforts on Go Fund Me pages for victims that will never get justice.
