KANSAS CITY CELEBRATES COVID-19 STIMULUS DEAL & $600 COMING SOON!?!

Tonight a new bi-partisan deal offers a bit of cash during the upcoming "dark days" of Winter.

Accordingly, we ask our blog community . . .

HOW MUCH WILL 600 BUCKS HELP COVID-19 DEVASTATION IN KANSAS CITY?!?

Consider . . .

Local independent restaurants have been wiped out and just about every small biz has suffered loses they'll never recoup. Moreover, we're now at the outset of a housing crisis that threatens to fundamentally change property rights in the United States.

In the coming days we'll see how this legislation mostly worked to bail out big biz but for now we share these news items as a starting point for local discussion.

Better than nothing. That's what Trump did.

You have to give people a little hope in they system because of the incompetence of the former President. He got us into this mess. Now it's up to everyone to try to get out.

  6. This deal would have happened months ago, but the Demoncraps didn't want Americans to think Trump was helping them. Morons.

  7. Even one of 10 Demoncraps say the election was rigged so Basement Joe would win, so you know it was bullsh*t in the middle of the night that gave him the office. Karma will be a bitch for the Dems in the 2022 elections.

This group is anti-social. The politics seem very strange and unproductive. Really wish there was more moderation and some far more insightful comments.

Personally, I tend to agree with Senator Hawley. This stimulus is far from enough.

  10. The SO-CALLED PANDEMIC WAS ALWAYS ABOUT MONEY, NOT HEALTHCARE:

    Bailing out big corporate players

    Corporate consolidation and monopolization

    Further restriction of individual rights

Imposing financial hardship upon the working-class, and lowering American's standard of living

Providing a screen to manipulate a national election

Further establishing a controlled narrative with social media giants and corporate news media disseminating false data throughout 2020

Purposely dividing the public along political/racial/gender/geographic boundaries

    Covid-19 Stimulus Spending:

Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act (March 6, 2020)

Families First Coronavirus Response Act (March 18, 2020)

Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (the CARES Act) (March 27, 2020)

Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act (April 24, 2020)

Latest December 2020 Stimulus Relief of $900 billion

About $4.4 trillion has been authorized by these and other measures, including tax relief provisions. Follow the money!

  13. Funny money will be needed in January. Don't spend it all in the same place.

  14. The money helps, not just the individual, but the nation, as well. All of this money will be promptly spent. Perfect. Everyone knows that if you give money to the poorest people, it will spread quickly through the economy. The increased demand for goods & services will create jobs. Giving tax cuts to the rich does not create jobs. The rich keep proving this to us.

  16. Surprised the $300 a week for the unemployed wasn't retroactive back to August when the $600 extra ended. A lot of unemployed people in the late summer and fall because of COVID are still hurting from those measly unemployment checks during those time periods. Maybe the money to Pakistan for "transgender studies" could have better spent in America.
