Waddell & Reed sale to Macquarie raises questions about new office tower - Kansas City Business Journal
With Wednesday's word of Macquarie Asset Management's $1.7 billion acquisition plan for Waddell & Reed Financial Inc., all metro-area eyes are on the Overland Park-based company's local future. Most visibly, Waddell & Reed (NYSE: WDR) is waist deep into constructing a $140 million, 18-story office tower to serve as its new headquarters in downtown Kansas City.
I miss Kansas City as much as anybody can miss a raging case of dysentery but then they are pretty much the same. Great show from the stands though. Sorta like witching Jerry Springer without the hookers and chair throwing midgets. 😏🍿
ReplyDeleteThey will write it off and get out of here while they can.
ReplyDeleteBe careful with that first paragraph, Tony. Go4KC, Geezer Hater and Weird Troll will mess their pants in anger.
