  1. Probably be just excited about the new administration.

Too bad the new KC curfew couldn't save him.

  3. 175 easy by the end of the year.
    25 more than in 2019.
And SEVENTY FIVE more than Lucas talked about working hard to limit this year's homicides to.
More empty rhetoric from him and all the clowns who rioted with BLM over the summer, the revs, and all the usual east-side suspects.
Willful ignorance, even as they waste their time, and everyone else's, making demands about Chief Smith and local control and accusing the new city manager of racism.
Always focused on uninformed demands and never on serious recommendations and taking responsibility and actions on the horrendous murder rate in their own community.
    Sad.

  9. And yet the same elected official continue to run Our Metro. Only worried about photo ops and lining their pocketbooks. Street cars, bike lanes and NFL give away millions. Still no attempt to end the crime rate caused by many.

  10. Mayor Wilson doesn't care. He lives in Lawrence, Kansas.

  11. ^^^ took me a minute to realize who mayor Wilson was! I just remembered baby daddy’s last name was Wilson!

  12. Always appreciate the headline describing the body as "dead". If one finds a "body", don't we all assume it's not alive?

  14. Meanwhile, in the major leagues, Baltimore has 308 murders and Chicago has 739. We’re a distant, distant second place in Missouri to St Louis, which has 245. Our hood rats are pussies who wouldn’t last a week in those cities.

  15. You mean to tell me that the FD didn't investigate the same close enough to see that there was a dead body there? Talk about irresponsible. I wish they would take better care and not just write off entire neighborhoods because of low income. Realize it was early in the morning and this isn't a criticism I'm honestly just concerned for people who depend on these vital services. Want them, need them, to do better. I think anybody can see that this wasn't a success story

  16. ^^^ It was a success for the killa ^^^

  17. When will the City declare murder a health crisis. Maybe we need more masks and lockdowns.

  18. The story here should be about the totally incompetent police officers and fire fighters who responded to the original call. I can just visualize the original scene with all of them standing around with their thumbs up their asses. Maybe city control is needed and someone in charge of the Police Department who has some idea of what a police officer should be. Totally disgusted!!!

  19. Nope, a body can also be in a coma or unresponsive. Just like a casualty of war is not always a death.
