Kansas City 2020 Homicide Count Now 170

At the outset of December the Kansas City homicide count continues to rise at a record breaking pace.

Over the weekend this town recorded two more killings.

Deadly Ruskin Way gunfire on Sunday pushed the count to 170.

And then . . .

A dead body inside a torched car with bullets nearby was ruled a homicide after some confusion over the crime scene on Friday.

Again, at this time last year there were only 141 homicides. The 2020 murder spike has been steady for most of the year at 20% over the 2019 total.

  1. Wish there was some kind of Christmas truce we could call. Everyone needs to stop the killing and this would be a great time for people to take a break from the violence.

  5. 170, woo hoo! Meanwhile, in the major leagues, Baltimore has 308 murders and Chicago has 746. St Louis is smoking us with 248. Our hood rats are not competitive, even though they smashed our all time record. Weak!

  6. ^^^ Please get a new line. Repeating this all year makes you look stupid.

  7. So, our hood rats are third rate? I thought this was the murder capital of the US of A. Fuck, we’re not even the murder capital of Missouri.

  9. ACTUAL QUOTE from Jesse Jackson:
“There is nothing more painful to me, at this stage in my life, than to walk down the street and hear footsteps ….. then turn around, and see somebody WHITE ..… and feel just - ABSOLUTELY RELIEVED!!!”

  10. KC has a lack of respect for life. If all lives really do matter, then let's start acting like it. With compassion, respect and love for everyone. Not just those with whom we agree or groups to which we belong.

This year we should try to put the Christ back in Christmas.

  11. ^^^ Amen brother.

  12. 12:43, we can't put Christ back in Christmas. He was never there to begin with.

You've been putting Christ in Saturnalia for over 400 years, but it just isn't so.

Jesus was not born on December 25th (you should recall reading about why Joseph went to Bethlehem.)

  13. 1:27 Joseph went to Bethlehem because of his nagging wife. It says Mary rode Joseph’s ass all the way to Bethlehem.

  15. Lack of respect of life. Provided by the same people that tore up our cities last year and cried equality. Weird
