Bubba Stays Losing With Kansas City Royals

Bad move Bubba . . . In this town he'll always be a hometown hero who never quite made it. Moving to another franchise would provide a fresh start and a new perspective.

Royals' Bubba Starling: Inks minor-league deal

Starling signed a minor-league contract with the Royals on Saturday. Starling will return to the Royals on a minor-league deal after being non-tendered by the team earlier in December. He slashed .204/.246/.298 over 91 major-league games during the past two seasons, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him get an invitation to big-league spring training in 2021.

  3. Starling had the bad luck to be an excellent all around athlete who was not superlative in one well paying sport. But he still has that multi million dollar signing bonus to cheer him up.
