This Prairie Village, Kansas middle-class institution is kaput after 18 years in biz as the disposable income of the Golden Ghetto dries up and locals no longer seem interested in community and sharing a beer with their neighbors.

I’m sure Covid hasn’t helped, but this place had really gone downhill in both quality and service for the last several years.

8:12pm^^^^

Blue Moose wasnt a pickup bar. Its a place for middle and older aged couples to eat at. I spent alot of time there. If there were high school reunions held there them maybe some people hooked up. It was a pretty boring place. Now The Lighthouse Grog and Galley formerly at 104th and Metcalf was THE pickup bar in its time. Never tried the Touche that is there now as I am too young for it.
