The death of American tradition has dire economic consequences for locals depending on a boost to help during the "dark days" of Winter.
To wit and because hottie Denise reminds of a joyful Christmas past . . .
ECONOMIC DISASTER IN KANSAS CITY WORSENS AS COVID-19 CRACKDOWNS CANCEL HOLIDAY FESTIVITIES AND THWART LOCAL SPENDING!!!
We've got more than a few stories to share on this topic but for now a local economic leader shares an important word in this message sent our way . . .
"You've got to be kidding . . . Do I think locals will get a holiday bump? HELL NO. Everyone is locked inside, The holidays are about crowding with people. Every holiday tradition involves navigating lines and crowds. Not this year. Some people will be shopping online and the box stores might see a smaller increase in sales but that's it. The restaurants will take another hit with no holiday traffic and any storefront will be lucky to stay open.
"In fact, the decline of holiday spending because of COVID-19 will hit Kansas City worst of all because the December rush supports so many smaller places. Federal stimulus will be the only thing that sustains people through January. Sorry. I wish had better news but right now, anybody who tries to put a happy face on the local economy is lying."

I haven't seen the progressives talk about this. They think it will only hurt people who own businesses. But that will impact a lot of jobs and that means less money all around. It's a shame that people don't understand more about how economies work.
ReplyDeleteBlame the schools. They only teach people how to pick up a check.
DeleteDon't count on that federal stimulus too much. People are going to need that just to keep the lights on and buy food.
DeleteThink about it.
The gal in that picture reminds me of a DST Systems Inc employee who used to have sex with the managers and got special treatment. Now she has to sell her wares elsewhere as the company is defunct!

Gee, closing everything and imposing restrictions on the restrictions that you placed on restrictions isn't working out? We tried to tell you. Spend as more than usual on Christmas this year and NOT ONE DIME of it was in Kansas City. I win. You lose Q Ball. Eat a bag of crap and have a nice day.
ReplyDelete1:37 the lovely Michelle!
ReplyDeleteProbably for the best in terms of consumers.
ReplyDeleteHope people don't mistakenly run up their credit cards online. Most of it is just junk anyway. You can't buy your way to happiness. The losers on this blog are proof of that.
^^^ welcome to the loser club!
ReplyDeleteIf people use their measly $1,200 stimulus check to spend more on Christmas then they’re idiots and/or don’t really need that money.
ReplyDeleteSo you are donating yours to charity then?
ReplyDelete^^^ you mean to the worthless welfare abusers who make more money a month than half the population does and then expects favors for a delicious meal on thanksgiving and Christmas. That kind of charity? No thanks
ReplyDeleteIn September 2019, 12,032 Missouri families with 21,431 children were supported by cash assistance. The average monthly payment for September was $225.96 per family.
DeleteSo according to your misinformation, half the population of Missouri makes less than $225.96 a month, 2;44?
I'm guessing maybe they make more than you, sure.
2:51, that sounds way too low. Do you have a source, preferably a primary source, for those numbers?
ReplyDeleteSource.

ReplyDeleteCall your mayor. He has the Fauci syndrome. He wants everyone out of work. Take a look at the guy he even looks bat shit crazy.
2:51 that’s fine and dandy but you’re forgetting food stamps, snap, free or next to free government housing and a host of other things they get. In kc I talked a woman who worked at Jackson county who worked with welfare recipients tell me, and this has been probably six or seven years ago that a single mother with three kids could make up to $2400 a month per kid if they applied for and got everything....
ReplyDeleteThat’s $7200 a month and $86,400 a year....
WHO GIVES A FUCK THAT LIBERAL DUMP IS DONE. TAKE GUNS AND CONTROL YOU SHEEP!
ReplyDelete4:31, thanks for the link. But this number applies only to TANF assistance, not all the other state and federal welfare programs that provide cash and non cash benefits. The average family gets much more than $225 in total taxpayer provided welfare every month.
ReplyDeleteLet's see all your sources, 5:07. We'll wait.
DeleteAnd wait
And wait
And wait
YOU PEOPLE ARE FUCKED AND TO STUPID TO KNOW IT!
ReplyDeleteHope you bitches can get ammo
ReplyDeleteYOU SHEEP ARE FINISHED!
ReplyDeleteHey white folks are rich they can afford to lose a little this year.
ReplyDeleteMayor Quentin Lucas, Dr. Quack Quack Archer, BLM, ANTIFA and Communist China's Covid-19 killed the Kansas City economy.
ReplyDeleteThrow in a stolen election by the Marxist Democrat Party and there is not much holiday cheer this year.
Corrupt Joe Biden saying he wants to "unite" the country after what the Marxist Democrat Party did the last four years is a joke.
Conservatives have learned NEVER trust the Democrat Party and in no way will we ever partner with the Communist left.
After calling hard working American Christians racists and deplorables; the Marxist Democrat Party can forever go FUCK itself.
AMEN

ReplyDeleteNot Michelle. It was Louise.
Michelle was hot and willing! I don’t know Louise, too bad I never met her.
ReplyDeleteThe only people who would benefit from the stimulus checks would be the crack dealers.
ReplyDeleteLouise was in Mutual funds full service. What dept. was Michelle in??
