TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! KANSAS CITY STAR BUILDING SPECULATION TURNS INTO DOWNTOWN BASEBALL HYPE AS FEAR OF 'THE GREAT RESET' CONFRONTS LOCALS!!!

The demise of a Kansas City newspaper has sparked even more sketchy real estate chatter powered by former dead-tree hacks.

To wit . . .

BREATHLESS SCRIBES HOPE THE BROKE-ASS KANSAS CITY STAR BUILDING TRANSFORMS INTO THE NEW LOCALE FOR DOWNTOWN BASEBALL!!!

Doubtful.

The fantasy is exceptionally far fetched given that KCMO is approaching bankruptcy at breakneck speed and as the pandemic worsens.

Fact is, owners will have to find a new tenant quickly given the dire fortunes of dead-tree media . . .

Fox4: Kansas City Star vacating downtown building, eliminating 124 jobs

Nevertheless . . .

All of this economic deception and loose talk bring us to a more dire fear of those lucky people who have cobbled together a modicum of savings during this time of transition.

To wit . . .

KANSAS CITY CONSERVATIVES DREAD "THE GREAT RESET" WHICH THREATENS TO MAKE AMERICAN SOCIALISM A REALITY DESPITE MIXED RESULTS AT THE POLLS!!!

Follow along closely, it's not really too far of a jump . . .

The ambitious dreams of downtown Kansas City baseball and rapidly evolving monetary policy are related inasmuch as voters are powerless to stop expensive schemes already fueled by entrenched political systems and public sentiment easily manipulated by mainstream media.

For those who are new to the 'reset' concept . . . Here's a glimpse at the debate over the global monetary slap fight:

National Review: A Useful Pandemic - Davos Launches New ‘Reset,’ this Time on the Back of COVID

The Blaze: Joe Biden has deep ties to the radical 'Great Reset' movement and its globalist leaders

Reuters: Fact check - World leaders are not encouraging a second wave of coronavirus to push a global vaccination strategy, nor an IMF-backed programme to steal everything you own

Of course we leave this topic open to debate with only one caveat for loyal readers . . .

Remember that during "The Great Recession" our daily newspaper was ABSOLUTELY AND CONSISTENTLY INCORRECT about predicting a recovery that didn't really hit an apex until the Prez Trump years and before the bottom fell out at the outset of the pandemic.

Whilst it's pointless to blame the newspaper for their lack of financial acumen given the decline of their own biz; the coronavirus economic disaster should remind us how so many experts have been proven wrong when the sordid topic of coin is under discussion.

In the final analysis . . .

COVID-19 has fundamentally devastated the American economy and hope for downtown baseball and more streetcar are now akin to Roosevelt-era public works projects dependent on overwhelming government investment and, ultimately, a "relearning" of foundational economic principles that are also in flux across the globe.

Developing . . .

  1. Sad to see the star go. It was a great paper in its day. Don't think they'll be able to recover or return to their former glory, ever.

  2. So, I'm sorry are we blaming the globalists or Joe Biden for the crappy record of our last place baseball team?

    Just want to make sure.

  3. Any new baseball stadium would require lots of state tax money. Good luck with that.

  4. I'm out, glad I'm out and enjoy saying SEE I TOL' YA SO because the people in Kansas Shitty obviously don't care about changing their surroundings. They keep electing the same cookie cutter MORONS and bitching about the same things. That's the definition of insanity. NOTHING changes.

If you don't have a way out I'd highly recommend working on one because that ship is sinking and it is going to get a lot worse and you will continue to pay for it to do so. Where there is a will there is a way. When my FUCK IT switch gets tripped shit happens. If you are looking for a shoulder to cry on then seek a safe space. I'm not one. I'm gay and you can come suck my dick anytime! I watch Kansas Shitty solely for entertainment purposes now. Looks like a bunch of monkey trying to fuck a football which, by the way, is also my opinion on the Chiefs.

  8. As companies close up shop in downtown KC; Kansas City becomes one step closer to becoming Detroit City.

Dangerous homeless drunks wandering around, looting, assaults, arson, murder, trash, rats and feces everywhere are killing Kansas City.

Those folks that purchased condos for $600,000 to $1,000,000 are losing their shirts on property value losses.

  9. Jackson County taxpayers will be asked to fork over $1,000,000,000 to build a new downtown Kansas City baseball stadium.

The very people paying these property taxes cannot afford the ticket price to attend the games.

It's a shame how Jackson County taxpayers have been ripped off by the Democrat Party.

  10. Baseball is so damn boring, why do these idiots keep trying to move it downtown so even less people can attend a game

  11. Bandit 4:05 when are you going to announce that you are moving out of the country?

  12. Most of the jobs that will be eliminated are blue collar print shop occupations. Shame on the leftist journalists at the Star who ran the paper into the ground and left these workers to die on the vine.

  13. Always thought Bandit/Chuck/Retro was gay, glad he finally admitted it.
Now that he's out, maybe he can start a GoFundMe so his "good friends" can chip in on the rent for his Section 8 apartment.
