Show-Me Thrifty Missouri Congresswoman

Disagree with her politics but "normalizing" bargains and earning high fashion praise for it is a welcomed Missouri value shared with the rest of the nation.

Take a look . . .

Congresswoman-elect Cori Bush On Thrifting Her Wardrobe for the Hill

Like anyone starting a new job, an incoming congresswoman has plenty to figure out. Where's her office? Who should she hire? Who are her colleagues? How does being in Congress actually work? The list goes on-and as Cori Bush recently pointed out on Twitter, it may include the not-incidental challenge of assembling a suitable wardrobe on a slender budget.

  1. As a true maoist/marxist, she should be required to wear something very drab and pedestrian, which might be found in 1950s Moscow or 1960s Peking.

    2. It’s because us geezers have lived long enough to have seen communists in action and what they do to people and countries

  3. Sad when in our country we put a homeless moron in office that started the riots in Ferguson and promotes racism and hate for cops and white people. This is a sad time in our country and until we fight back and remove these people from our country we are only going to get worse. Why isn't this women along with Michael Brown's mother in prison? They burned down Ferguson all because a cop wouldn't let Michael Brown get his gun to kill him with. Hate to say it but we need a civil war in our country this has boiled to a head and is exploding right now.

And remember if you have to put a color in front of lives matter you are a racist.

  4. Remember when AOC was shamed into taking down a gofundme because she couldn't afford to find a modest apt on DC.

  5. You old white racists always have a complaint and a grievance with everybody and everything. Nobody is buying that you are victims. Since you have so many grievances, why don't you move out of the country?

  6. Slender budget? Her salary is $174,000 a year plus perks and benefits.

  7. ^^^ In D.C., you can't even afford a decent apartment on that salary.

  8. TOP PHOTO -- A HAND IN THE BUSH IS WORTH 2 BIRDS?

A formerly "homeless single mother of 2 children", the best thing she's ever done is ridding St. Louis of Lacy Clay!!!

  9. I doubt anyone posting here either lives in that congress district or knows the first thing about cori bush or the incumbent William Clay lacy or whoever she beat in the primary. But the St. Louis post dispatch does not like cori bush because she has said some things not as pro-war as that paper likes. Give her a chance she hasn’t even started the job yet.
