MAYOR Q'S KANSAS CITY COVID-19 CURFEW CRACKDOWN WORSENS LOCAL RESTAURANT APOCALYPSE!!!

Kansas City's restaurants have endured their worst year in modern history.

Simply blaming the pandemic is a cop out because there are more factors at play.

Following the Mayor's curfew order we've seen close to a dozen places announce their closure with hundreds of jobs lost.

Moreover, a few messages and chats reveal an unfortunate fact of life . . .

MANY LEADERS OF THE KANSAS CITY RESTAURANT SCENE BLAME MAYOR LUCAS FOR AN EXTREME CRACKDOWN THAT FORCES A FALSE DECISION BETWIXT SAFETY VS. JOBS!!!

In an upcoming lawsuit, restaurant leaders will argue that they were, in fact, keeping safe and following public health protocols.

Moreover, if we look at the local restaurant shut down carnage closely, it's worth noting that few chains are on the list and local independent places have been hit worst of all.

Here's just some of the KCMO restaurant scene carnage since the Mayor started his crackdown that begin with 10-10-10 rules and recently closed restaurants at 10 PM with little science to support the group punishment for a few bad actors . . .

Gaslight Grille, Corner Restaurant, The Mixx (Downtown), Black Sheep, Rieger, Manifesto, Urban Table, Tapcade, Hopcat, Tiki Cat, Flying Saucer, Webster House, Beignet, Parkway On The Plaza, Gojos, Freshwater, Poi-o, Nara, Nick and Jakes (Plaza), Ignite, Louie’s Wine Dive, Soirée, Boru Raman, The Levee, Bluestem.

Again, the lawsuit might or might not win.

However . . .

What we know for certain is that many of these restaurants will NEVER reopen despite assurances in much the same way that more than a few KCMO service industry leaders will NEVER trust Mayor Quinton Lucas again.

  7. EPISODE 2
FAIRY TALES WITH QUINTON LUCAS, FEATURING FAKE-DR. ARCHER

The City Hall narrative is that local government cares about your health and MUST enact drastic measures to protect you from a coronavirus which only manages to kill 1% or less of those in advanced age groups who contract the virus. Those who unfortunately succumb to the respiratory complications of this coronavirus are typically already in poor health, battling other medical conditions, and oftentimes residing in care facilities.

As of July 2019, less than 6.61% of Americans were in the 85 and over age group.

Is KCMO focusing upon protecting this vulnerable demographic? No
Are most 85+ year-old residents active in the workplace? No
    Are most 85+ year-olds patronizing restaurants/bars after 10:00PM? No
Are most 85+ year-old residents present in the public schools and universities? No

In what other instance does society impose restrictions upon all of the population to protect a fraction of the whole? According to the CDC, every year in the U.S., cigarette smoking is responsible for more than 480,000 deaths, including more than 41,000 deaths resulting from secondhand smoke exposure. As well, excessive alcohol use is responsible for more than 95,000 deaths in the United States each year, or 261 deaths per day.

KCMO has NOT banned smoking and alcohol in the City, but instead allows adults to make their own decisions.

According to fake-Dr. Archer's KCMO Health Department, as of 11-24-20, there have been 21,270 "Lab Confirmed Cases", 269 deaths, and a Death Rate of 55.88 per 100,000 residents.

What does "Lab Confirmed Cases" mean? This means that someone's lab test was determined to be positive for coronavirus. It does not mean the PCR lab test was performed accurately (multiple regional labs are using faulty thresholds). It does not mean the virus particles detected were capable of being infectious. It does not rule out a false positive result. It does not mean the individual has symptoms. It does mean the individual is at risk. In fact, in the absence of clinical symptoms, there is arguably NO reason for anyone to be tested for the coronavirus.

Of the 269 deaths reported in KCMO, wouldn't it be helpful to know that most of these occurred in the advanced 80-85+ age group? The KCMO Health Department previously made this data available graphically on their website until people started highlighting it, then they removed it. Wonder why?

If you accept the stated COVID-19 death rate of 55.88 per 100,000 residents in KCMO per the KCMO Health Department, how does that compare to other diseases/conditions which kill KCMO residents? I'll give you the top two below. Does KCMO impose mandatory cardiovascular and cancer screenings upon residents? Why not, if these 2 each claim multiple times more lives than the coronavirus? I thought Lucas and Archer said they cared about me.

Heart Disease -- death rate of 201.5 deaths per 100,000 population
Cancer -- death rate of 198.6 deaths per 100,000 population

Is the City of KCMO, Quinton Lucas, and fake-Dr. Archer more interested in "Racial Equity" initiatives than actually working to promote the health and well-being of KC residents? Sadly, that would appear to be the case.
"We created an environment in which Black/African American and immigrant workers of color could only access lower wage jobs that put them at higher risk of contracting COVID-19.
With already less access to healthcare and, more often than not, receipt of lower-quality health care than their white counterparts, Black/African American, Asian, and Hispanic/Latinx residents have more often tested positive for the disease, been hospitalized and have higher death rates due to COVID-19. "

  8. The reality is that restaurants and bars are being force to close because people, mostly white people, refuse to stay home and wear masks, social distance, in other words follow the science. Instead they continue to act as if the virus spread is a hoax. The people are the blame for these business failures. White people have made a complete mess of this whole pandemic. Thanks white America

I try to ask what I'd do if I was in his shoes, and to be honest, I don't know if I'd make the right decision. The curfew thing is stupid. It's not like COVID shuts down after 10pm.

The msm reports cases, not numbers of sick. Over 80% never know they have it, other get a cold, very few sick or die and those numbers are suspect.

If you go to the hospital for anything you get a test, positive asymptomatic cases are covid hospitalizations even if there for cancer, heart attack etc.

    Biggest scam ever.

Don't believe your lying eyes believe the ppl being paid millions to brainwash you for the billionaire globalist making a killing with shutdowns n worthless vaccines for a fake plague with 99.5% recovery rate.

There are alot more restaraunts that have supposibly closed for winter. Westport Ale house. County Road Ice house. Great establishments. This Democrat mayor is deliberately trying to hurt these businesses. Now there expecting them. Holding them by the collar. There choking them out. Its all deliberate. Places like Joplin Mo aren't doing this to there restaraunts. This is happening in Democrat controlled cities

  22. The authoritarian states and their mini dictators are pushing the boundaries to see how far they can go without significant resistance. They figure people won’t come out in mass to protest for bars, so once that becomes acceptable they will push the envelope further. Just like the other article about confiscating private property in Boston, MA people aren’t going to protest in large numbers for hotels that might be confiscated. They figured people wouldn’t come out in large numbers because of restrictions on church. This will continue to creep, the next health emergency is climate change. The dictators are boiling the frogs slowly. You’d have to have never seen handwriting or a wall not to know what is happening.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I wonder if mr. mayor and Frank White will take this destruction into consideration with respect to property taxes.

All bars and other businesses forced to close should at minimum be given a property tax reduction for the prorated amount of the closure.

It is unfair to tax property tax if you are shut down for government benefit. These businesses will be also robbed of unemployment claim money.

Bu the way, it is so weird, but I notice we are having a really great flu season. No one seems to be getting the flu.

    Huh...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Covid doesn’t like you drinking, or going to church, or singing. It doesn’t like you walking against the arrows.

It’s ok with you rioting, screaming, looting, and burning during "Peaceful Protests" which even mr. mayor can pass on a mask.

Covid threatens the poor frontline healthcare workers, but avoids the (actually) poor grocery store workers who encounter hundreds of strangers a day, and handle all their items and money.

Here in KC, you can take off your mask if you are sitting on a barstool before 10PM. Apparently, WuFlu discriminates vertically. Sitting vs. standing vs. barstools. And none of it makes a lick of sense.

Actually I guess that is good news. Covid will stay away as long as you are sitting down. It must have mutated into a new strain that hovers at chair level. Maybe they should have people crawl across the floor to stay out of it’s range. I mean, that's what they want anyway, all of us on our knees.

    ReplyDelete
  25. 6:54

Well, since March worldwide flu cases have dropped by 98 to 99 percent. The CDC has stopped reporting flu numbers.

We all have snippets of RNA from the coronavirus that causes common colds and the PCR WuFlu tests use a completely absurd number of reactions to achieve positives (often false). I believe that every WuFlu case atp is nothing more than a coronavirus cold or the flu.

Im sure I read this in one of the many technical reports Ive seen and I could be wrong here but I dont believe that an actual complete WuFlu genome has ever been found. Everything up to now has been extrapolation.

Patrons were seated apart from other parties, all menus, condiments, etc. had been removed from tables to a central spot and wiped down before giving to customers. These rules are unfairly targeting certain sectors of the economy for no other reason than to give the political appearance of “caring”.
