KC Scribe Exposes Christian Political FAIL

Worthwhile winter reading on the hypocrisy and political chest thumping — Same difference but still deserving of consideration during this time of far too much overly sentimental holiday badinage.

Sex, politics and religion: Local author explores their influence on American culture

By Jill Draper American elections present a curious contradiction. How can it be that politicians who seem to least embody "Christian values" are the very same people winning over conservative religious voters? That question is at the heart of a book published earlier in 2020, "Compromising Positions: Sex Scandals, Politics, and American Christianity," by Leslie Dorrough Smith, a professor at Avila University.

Cafeteria Christians have decimated America with their greed and ignorance. Today's Republican party has been hijacked by these clowns and perverted into nothing more than a God Squad. Thanks, MAGATS!

Joe Biden raped Tara Reade, I hope that she discusses that in her next column.

Trump has NONE of the beatitudes below. They are Jesus's "TEST" of who is a real Christian:

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

Gospel of Matthew 5:3-10

This one is easy and not worthy of a book. Christians (etc.) will support the politicians who let them worship as they see fit. They will not support the politicians who order them to stop worshiping together because their churches are non-essential.

Past Presidents were real Christians. During the 1918 flu, the President called for a day of prayer to ask God for mercy. The flu did go away shortly after that. Even if it wasnt a real act of God, at least the Pres had the faith to have a national day of prayer.

Trump has never mentioned God once while in office. Never says he prays about anything.

Christians need to be much more picky about who they consider to be Christian

The qualifications for the office of president is not the same as for a Sunday school teacher. We are not evaluating anyone’s personal sanctity when deciding to cast a vote. We are evaluating if he will act for the political concerns of Christians. Mister Rogers was a wonderful example of a Christian life but he was not a fighter and we need fighters for our politicians as we are now boxed in and on defense. That is not satisfactory and needs to change.

Most politicians are narcissists and have to be. Its a power hungry game to get into high public office. And if you dont lie and kinda cheat you may never get elected. It would be rare for a real Godly person to be President.

Trump certainly wasnt. His hobby was sex with porn stars on a golf course WITHOUT A RUBBER.

Thats REALLY gross!
