Developer Snaps Up Buildings on Main Near Planned Streetcar Stops

Exact Partners is continuing to snap up properties along the planned streetcar extension on Main Street, purchasing two office buildings at corners near where stops will be located at 31st and 39th streets. The firm, which includes Caleb Buland of Exact Architects and his partner Ilan Salzberg of Denver, is investing $10 million in the purchase and renovation of the former MainCor building at 3215 Main St.

  1. KC is such a hick town. We did away with street cars in the 1950s because we had buses. Our street car plan is silly and wasteful.There are free buses and Streetcar system in KC is something we got rid of 60 years ago. It was stupid then and it is stupid now.. Please stop it.

  2. Sadly, we just allowed this developer to set a precedent of government assisted funding for any future development along the Main Street extension.

    Now everyone will demand it.
