Kansas City Too Broke To Shop Local???

The economic devastation resulting from the pandemic is the worst this nation has seen since the Great Depression. Recovery and stimulus likely won't arrive to save Christmas.

Accordingly, this upscale local shopping list is probably out of reach for most of the plebs worried about staying in their homes, keeping the heat on and buying groceries . . . Moreover, generally, the ample margins required to make local biz work aren't in favor of so many broke-ass locals.

Take a look . . .

  3. I'm under the impression that you still have a dog in the race here in k.c. - in other words you have some connection here that keeps you, let's say, trolling? or just flat out whining hoping someone will ask what's wrong.

Probably still has relatives here or has a paper trail that leads back to here hence the "I can't leave tkc just yet" replies. who cares danbit?

  6. Most people are not going to support local if the business is owned and operated by democrats. You can always tell too because democrat owned businesses are so rude. Support true Americans first. Best place to go is places like Liberty or Weston. No one wants racism and communism shoved in their face like KC does. Also boycott Independence Center they cater to racism with the new Kindred store that sells black lives matter crap. Remember if you have to put a color in front of lives matter then you are racist. Also tired of cheap chiefs garbage taking up space. Be an American.

  7. Deal with it and do so with my taxes or money from purchasing goods or services. It is gone and IS NOT coming back. Not one more dime. Sorry not sorry. That’s your real problem isn’t it? I’m no longer funding the stupidity.

Along the lines of 0841, I will not support local businesses whose workers OR CUSTOMERS don't want me there. I don't think I'd pull Democrat/Republican into the mix.
If a place doesn't want my money, I don't give it to them.
