More meetings planned as this town struggles to find a total consensus but most agree that some sort of street name tribute is long overdue.

Let. it. Gooooooo! There is plenty in Kansas City already named after King. In about 10-15 years all of these folks shouting down the establishment about this will be dead or on their way there. It’s not 1959 anymore.
ReplyDeleteSo glad kcmo has its priorities straight, people are losing their jobs and the fat fake dr Rex is cancelling the rest of your life and parks and rec wants to hold hearings on naming something after a rapist. Way to go killer kc, real smart right smack in the middle of China flu joes dark winter.
ReplyDeleteHell, we even have restaurants and Copy Centers named after him...
ReplyDeleteChina KING
PeKING Gardens
Burger KING
KINGkos
how much more do we need to do to honor this man properly?
I got a dollar that says King wouldn't want anything named after him in this shithole of a town. Plus he'd tell Lucas how he hated his gay ass and to keep the King name out of anything he's involved in.
ReplyDeleteThe black community no longer believes in King's dictum that what matters is the content of one's character, not the color of their skin. BLM has reversed that. The movement to name something after a leader they have rejected is no more than a ploy to show who really wields the power in KCMO. As if we didn't already know.
ReplyDelete"I had a Dream , all Men are equal" But homos and LGBT- MLK. That Dream of his ? Weird
