We can pretend this a recent editorial demanding mask equity is public safety concern OR take a glimpse at the link tease from the quickly vanishing newspaper and realize that they're trolling the top cop like every other activist in this cowtown.
Check-it:
Kansas City residents are already required to wear masks. Why aren't police officers?
Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas is expected to announce more restrictions on Monday to combat the uncontrolled spread of COVID-19. Positive cases and hospitalizations continue to spike in the metro area. Under the city's current mask mandate, police officers and other first responders are exempt. But should they be?
Didn't they demand a bunch of things during the election and ended up getting fragged?

Like anyone is going to take advice from a bankrupt Kansas City Star.

ReplyDeleteLike folks are going to take advice from a homeless newspaper.
ReplyDeleteThe Kansas City Star is almost dead and reeling from news that their parent company is closing up printing and taking the work out of town. There is little doubt that in just a couple of years print paper will be gone and their push for digital subscriptions will fall on it's face. The Star is little more than an expensive alternative to The Pitch and in reality they are both struggling for the same demographics. In the end it will be the Star's own doing when the house of cards comes tumbling down. Those who run the Star are trying to bend an ear with those who won't read the paper, while those who do read the news won't read the Star. When the Star actually reported, and not opined, on every issue the paper was a force in this city. It is little more than kindling for a Weber grill.
ReplyDeleteThe Star's political endorsements had little to do about substance, but political ideology. The midwest is still where it is, despite the pulling and arm wrestling of those who would make you believe that the coasts have it right. We are a more middle of the road type of people, and aren't interested in going any farther to either extremes. The anti-police rhetoric has been devastating for the liberals and that message proved fatal for the "Blue-wave". Their firm grasp on the "defunding the police" message and move towards socialism was very costly, even in the wake of voting out a mostly unpopular president.
The Star will continue to write anti-police garbage, but refuse to report all of their efforts in the community. It is up to each of us to make a decision to ignore the trash they produce, and contact those who advertise with them. Since the people aren't buying what the Star is producing, maybe it's time to cut off the only funding stream the Star has left.
9:17 oh snap! That’s a good one! Lmao!
ReplyDeleteMy aging parents told me this weekend that they are cancelling your prescription to the Star. It has become too expensive for them and they tell me it is not a good newspaper anymore. LOL!
ReplyDeleteDon't use the Star to start your grill. It will poison the food. The best use for it is landfill.
ReplyDeleteSo if the cop behind a mask yells drop the gun to an advancing thug, and said thug hears come at me bro, the Star will side with the thug. Wonder if Yell Abu-HockaALoogie is ghost writing for the Star?
ReplyDelete^^I don't know geezer, the Star is a geriatric fucktard issue. the rest of us moved on from newspapers a decade ago.
ReplyDeleteYell Abu-HockaALoogie
ReplyDelete🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good one!
10:14 the world has moved beyond you fucktard! Lmao!
ReplyDelete^^I demand you change your diaper, I demand you finish your tapioca, and I demand you return to the day room for Matlock.
ReplyDelete^^^Your demands are as toothless as the Star's.
ReplyDelete^^or your wife. She gives the best gum jobs though so...
ReplyDeleteyes officers need to speak clearly to be understood, or else just confusion, and then tempers flare.
ReplyDelete"STOP OR I'LL SHOOT!" works just fine.
ReplyDelete"EH boss"
ReplyDeleteFuck the star and fuck the mask orders.
