Kansas City Saturday Night Streetcar Hype

Tonight we take a pause to check out the Kansas City creative class engaging in a bit of creative expression aboard the empty streetcar.

Hipster fashion shows are basically harmless so we don't begrudge these locals their fun even if the poseur festival doesn't resonate with the current harsh times of the pandemic.

Check the description . . .

"Coalesce is an immersive art experience where fashion and fine art come together in a breath taking collaboration celebrating fine art on the runway. Guests will safely experience how eight local Kansas City artists transform gowns into walking canvasses of fine art with a virtual experience unlike any other."

Take a look . . .

Again, KCMO during in the time of COVID-19 isn't really a glamorous place but it's telling that promotion for the streetcar is now part of Saturday night fantasy for a way of life that no longer exists. And maybe never did.

As always, thanks for reading this week and have a safe and fun Saturday night.

  6. Empty streetcars running up & down a deserted downtown. This is crazy. And big spender Trump wants to give them more of our tax dollars.

  7. Black catholic history??? Why do you people do this? All you are doing is making things worse with your division.
