Mission Bowl developer commits to reserving 20% of apartments for low-income tenants
The city of Mission's finance committee heard an update Wednesday on financing and project plans for the proposed Mission Bowl apartment project, a five-story, 161-unit apartment complex at 5399 Martway Street.
Johnson County continues to wreck itself.
ReplyDeleteKiss your safety goodbye.
ReplyDeleteAll part of the plan. BUILD LOADS OF LOW INCOME IN PV KS. THEY VOTED FOR IT GIVE IT TO EM.
ReplyDeleteCa n you believe a cook burned the place down, even though the fire dept was 4 blocks away. And due to that, section 8 housing goes in?
ReplyDeleteMission was a armpit scum bucket area for people and business owners with no college. Its a pit anyway. Firemen - you lost my faith in you. You were almost next door and couldnt save the building?
In 1994 there was a huge converted school bus sitting in their lot for a week. It was filled with escorts who provided services in the bus. They were told to "move on". Billy Bob partook in their sleazy activites and told all his friends about it - including "Porno Bill".
ReplyDeleteMaybe Mission would be a good location to reopen the 9ine Ultra Lounge. Sounds like they are building in the clientele.
ReplyDeleteLow income people in Mission? That's an oxymoron.
ReplyDeleteThe city’s finance committee must be meshugenah. Do zey vant de schwartzes?
ReplyDeleteIf cancer is not adequately treated, it spreads. And KCMO is a big tumor. There’s no point in pretending that JoCo and other once-nice suburbs will not experience the fallout from this. Just wait until your new president and his administration mandate that low-income housing be thrown up in the nicest of suburbs. If your suburban home is among your largest investments, get ready to take a bath when Section 8 goes up around the corner.
ReplyDeleteLol wait until Karen's son has to help raise section 8 cutie Lucushions kid instead becoming a Jayhawk.
ReplyDelete5:33, LMAO. Little Quantavious Von Bulow.
ReplyDeleteWell, that makes it easy...
ReplyDeleteThe place might fill up for the first year, BUT when the robberies and car break-ins start to happen, they'll be looking at around 20% occupancy. And a drop in neighboring property values.
Not a very sound business plan.
