2 shot, suspect arrested in Friday shooting in KCMO

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Two people are expected to recover after being shot Friday afternoon in the Northeast neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri. Police were notified around 3 p.m. of a reported shooting in the 100 block of Bellaire Avenue. Officers located two shooting victims. They were taken to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

One bright spot in KC violence is our local trauma doctors are receiving invaluable battlefield type experience, which is usually hard to come by in peacetime.

Additionally, since the wounded are usually thugs, no great loss to the community if the patient doesn't make it.
