An iconic Kansas City restaurant is calling it quits after 40 years and less than 72 hours after some of the most severe public health restrictions have been announced by Mayor Quinton Lucas.
To wit and given that this establishment survived the lockdown but doesn't seem to have much confidence about doing biz in KCMO under the rule of Mayor Lucas . . .
GOJO'S SHUTTING DOWN SIGNALS MORE SUFFERING EXPECTED FOR KANSAS CITY BIZ AND WORKERS UNDER SEVERE COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS!!!

THE MAYOR'S SUPPORTERS BLAME THE PANDEMIC AND PUT PRESSURE ON THE REPUBLICANS FOR MORE STIMULUS DESPITE KANSAS CITY BIZ OUTCRY!!!
Accordingly . . .
We understand public health concern and contend that a better solution exists in partnership with local biz rather than imposing draconian measures. To be certain, GoJo's wasn't attracting rowdy crowds of late night party people who didn't care about COVID but the closure of this restaurant signals the far-reaching impact of restrictions that weren't well thought out and didn't include small biz or even seek to create a consensus.
More to the point . . .
THE MAYOR'S SUPPORTERS FOCUS ON DEBATING BIZ OWNERS & FORGET ABOUT SO MANY NEWLY LAID OFF WORKERS!!!

KSHB: Gojo will continue to sell its sauces — including its famous yellow sauce, teriyaki and miso ginger dressing — bottled for home use. Those sauces should begin popping up soon in local grocery stores.
