COVID-19 IMPACT: University of Kansas Health System beginning to delay small number of surgeries
Officials with the University of Kansas Health System said starting Thursday, doctors are beginning to postpone a small number of elective surgeries to free up bed space at the hospital. Doctors said in a morning video briefing that they're working to see which patients can safely delay surgery with risk to their health.
