Five Top Clay County Employees Resign, Alleging Harassment By The Presiding Commissioner
Clay County government will pay out more than $350,000 to five top county employees in settlement agreements approved Monday. The resignations include assistant county administrators Nicole Brown, Laurie Portwood and Brad Garrett. It marks a significant shakeup in county government - these are the top three appointed posts.
Big changes coming with the charter approval, so it's time to cash in and try to avoid blame as the rocks are turned over and all the bad stuff surfaces.

Any entity as large as Clay County should never have only 3 members of a governing commission. Too easy for two persons to collude.

Nope, Jesse (or Luanne), but she'll be able to when the State Auditor's Department gets the records that the Ridgeway/Owen Clique has been refusing to turn over for two years, despite three Court Orders and after spending at least $5 Million Taxpayer's Dollars on outside Lawyers to try to prevent turning over.
