KCFD: Smoking likely caused fatal fire in old northeast neighborhood

The Kansas City Fire Department is urging people to check their smoke detectors after a fire killed two men early Friday. Investigators said the home did not have working smoke detectors inside. The fire broke out about 3 a.m.
