Considering that all manner of marijuana is now more widely available than effective cold medicine, decriminalization might be a worthwhile goal if only to free up the time of local courts.
Law enforcement lost the battle against marijuana and now the electorate is on the side of the stoners. Its unlikely total cannabis prohibition will every be realized again in much the same way that old school laws against booze now seem hypocritical and inherently corrupt.
