The very best TKC readers notice an amazing pandemic deal that still isn't as much fun as paying a fraction of that price to pause a better movie at home.
Check-it:
You can now rent a private AMC theater for just $99
A crisp Benjamin Franklin will get you your own private movie theater.
Up to 20 people: $99-349
ReplyDeleteMicrophone: $100
More than 15 minutes to enter: $250
Concessions, if available, are still most likely overpriced and very stale by now.
That's $17.45 (movie only)per person, $29.95 with the extra 15 minutes and taking a pass on the microphone.
Be honest. Anything anybody will want to see will incur upcharges.
NO THANKS!
Bitch slap to Hollyweird "influence": PRICELESS
Movie theatres will continue to close. Many for permanently. On Demand cable, satellite, Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, et al will top this market as prices for rentals fall due to less discretionary income. It is how the free market works libtards. When you start dicking around with it, it will adjust. There are certain price points that people will not pay. Entertainment is always the first to get taken off of the expenditure list.
In other words Hollyweird: YOU'RE EXPENDABLE
Perfect opportunity for out of work KU recent graduates with worthless social justice warrior degrees to become money-making burlesque entertainers (strippers). Hopefully, they weren't on the "cafeteria plan" at McCarthy Hall.
ReplyDeleteYou can buy a lot of AMC stock now for $99, but I wouldn't advise it.

“Grew up in Connecticut and moved to Texas 15 years ago. Love it here. The only thing I don’t love are the hurricanes. Haven’t regretted my decision to move.”
“We left California after 30+ years in 2013. Packed it all up and moved to north Georgia. We still wonder what kept us in California for so long. We found our freedom here and hope each and every one of you do as well.”
“Don’t forget…. ‘Don’t California my Texas.'”
“You left the rabid left of California for the glorious free, red state of Texas. All we ask is that you leave your leftist politics in California.”
^^Yawn.
ReplyDeleteThe Democraps often like to migrate out of their poorly-run, high-tax states and then are dumb enough to vote for Democraps again in their new states so these areas become putrid too. They have a hard time figuring out why this "bad luck" seems to be following them because of their pea-sized brains.
ReplyDelete10:44's post adds so much to the conversation. Talk about a snoozefest.

Not mine. She hates white people, votes with her party 97% of the time, and has done nothing to represent our area.
ReplyDeleteThe gays would love to rent out the theater, but only if they play Judy garland movies!
ReplyDelete^^Ues! And you would love to be their pivot man in the circle jerk wouldn’t you? Thought so! Now blow me while I shit CHUD.
ReplyDeleteI ran several of Boomer Hater/Geezer/Pops/Geriatric Fu*ktard/Old People/Weird/CHUD boy's comments through an online age detection app for written materials and it showed in the results that he is only 10 years old. You can tell his age by his lack of writing skills and his frequent temper tantrums. I'm guessing he dropped out of elementary school, and his mother doesn't know what to do with him. For his welfare, we’ve started a GoFundMe page titled “Save the 10-Year-Old Dumbass."
ReplyDeleteI want to rent the theater, watch Eyes Wide Shut with Lori from DST Systems STS client services and have sex with her in the theatre!
ReplyDeleteI think I did "Lori" once after meeting her in a bar. Brunette/huge nose?
ReplyDeleteYes thats Lori - big old nose, thin lips, will let anyone do anything. Chases men down like they are hundred dollar bills blowing down the street. never seen anything like her
ReplyDelete"Always wet" Lori
