Today, the newly formed Community Integrity Unit in Wyandotte County will begin to oversee investigations into police misbehavior. Nobody knows if it will be effective. Its budget is limited, its purview constrained.

District attorneys need to be held accountable for giving probation to murderers and causing record numbers of murders throughout the metro area. They are the problem, not the police.
