Protesters Occupy City Hall And Demand Change From Kansas City Police

Here's yet another local media consideration of nearly two dozen activists in a standoff with authorities over the weekend and taking up residence on the city steps.

Take a look:

Sunday marks the third day since protesters set up camp to occupy the area outside City Hall in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The protesters are demanding the resignation of Kansas City Police Department Chief Rick Smith, and that an officer seen on video arresting a pregnant woman forced to lay on her stomach be fired.

  2. When are these people going to go home and get a job? I don't like chief smith either but protesting does nothing can't they see that by now. There's other ways to get things done. Protesting doesn't do anything neither does rioting or kneeling, as a matter of fact it only makes things worse just take a look at the kneelers the NBA went down even more. No one cares about protesting it just makes people mad and makes protesters look like brainless idiots.

@ 9:52 Snow and ice are coming and I have word that we are on an earthquake watch plus the oil wells in KS an OK are hot and releasing large amounts of gas. Not good.

  3. They only hate Chief Smith because he's white. If he were black, he'd be given a Nobel Peace Prize.

  6. If you can't camp in public parks without approval then you can't camp on any city property without approval. It is time to enforce the law against camping and kick these people out. Pure and simple the law is on the city's side here and it needs to be enforced. Failing that the Mayor needs to resign as he is accommodating breaking the law. Time to grow a pair Q and do the right thing. RESTORE LAW AND ORDER!

Bet Quinton Lucas is going to "pitch a tent" with them, IF you know what I mean.

On a serious note...Where are these people defecating during their occupation?

  10. I have to keep reminding my self the numbers of these irrational blacks is insignificant to both the black population and the total population. They do however badly reflect and influence. Bottomline is that don't count for a spec of shit on a hair on a pimple of the ass of KC. They should be regarded as such! AND dealt with as such!

  11. Keith Humphrey was Chief Smiths competition. Google haw he has done where he landed in Little Rock. Being used by his own command staff and FOP vote of no confidence. Total an complete failure in 1 year. Smith was the right choice. Smith bucks JPB and good for him to protect his personnel. They only disapprove of him because he is white and that is the racist nature of BLM and the movement to accept criminal activity as the norm.

  12. @9:52, Bandit, quite unfortunately it rolled through last week. Can you imagine how fun it would have been to watch that storm roll through this bs protest site? Punks would have thought they were in the Wizard of Oz.
