POPE CONDEMNS CAPITALISM!!!

El Papa offers a strong rebuke of the free market and its inability to care for humanity during a global crisis. Anybody who had to desperately scrounge for toilet paper during the coronavirus shortage must at least acknowledge that the faith leader has a viewpoint worthy of consideration.

Pope Francis Laments Failures Of Market Capitalism In Blueprint For Post-COVID World

Pope Francis has presented his blueprint for a post-COVID-19 world, covering a vast number of issues from fraternity and income inequality to immigration and social injustice. The document, released Sunday, is his third encyclical - the most authoritative form of papal teaching.

  2. Of course the pope condemns capitalism he's a socialist. All anyone has to do is check him out and some of the pictures of him if they haven't been removed. He doesn't try to hide it he doesn't lie very well either he's back and forth all of the time. When he became pope why do you think the Vatican was struck by lighting a couple of times and the raven killed the dove????? He's just not cool.

@ 9:47 You are going to regret you said that some day. That's really bad. If Jesus was a pinko do you really think he would have died for you??? I highly doubt it. You might want to think things over before it's too late for you!

  3. Most Popes go to hell when they die. Once they get there, they understand why. Mary is jewish, and not to be used to replace a real God

  4. @10:14, isn't "Jesus died for you" the ultimate expression of the Communist motto "From Each According To His Ability, To Each According To His Need"?

  5. The Roman Catholic Church is the real church. The one founded by Peter. Protestants are upstart heretics. Protestants are disgusting, always telling people they're going to hell. What I like about Catholics is they don't bother me with their mythology, they keep it to themselves. Evangelicals are pests. Always trying to get people to drink their kool-aid.

  6. I am Catholic and if the pope condemns capitalism then open up the Vatican and let us all share the artwork and wealth of the catholic church. When was the last time the pope paid to travel anywhere? When did he last pay for his own meals? When did he last buy his own clothes? Cars? Who pays for his security detail? Not him! His world is a socialist one and he is the emperor of his world. The pope needs to keep his mouth shut and stop telling Americans, one of the largest and most prosperous catholic communities on earth, how to live. Americans, our country and American Catholics are the biggest donors to charitable causes on earth. We live the gospel and we help others more than any country and it is because of capitalism and the freedom of religion that we can.

  7. The Catholic church is no better or worse than a cult like Heaven's Gate, and the pope is as believable as Marshall Applewhite.

@ 10:14 I don't believe in your fairy tale, so I won't regret anything. You should live your life honorably. I don't need a god to tell me to love my neighbor, don't steal or kill, and treat people with kindness. If you do, that's your problem.

  8. I was raised Catholic. Altar boy, Catholic schools, the whole thing.
Appreciate a superior education, but other than that, I looked around at ALL RELIGIONS, and our infinitesimal place in the universe, and had to laugh at the ego required to think we are a big deal.

Treat others as you would be treated. Live your life well. Enjoy the good parts and mourn the sad. Then die and become part of the vastness.

  9. The popes comments only prove that he does not understand where the church's wealth comes from. It does not come from socialist countries it comes from capitalistic countries. Countries like India and China don't fill the Vatican's coffers. I'd bet less than $10 million a year comes from Russia and Muslim countries. Europe, Great Britain, the US and South American countries send the bulk of Vatican funds. Pope Francis, quit biting the hand that feeds you.

  10. he condemns neoliberalism and the ol' trickle theory. If you want to call that marxism or socialism or communism,so you can wag your balls & slap them on your forehead, you are just being dumb.

  11. neoliberalism is the main reason why the midwest and just about every rural town has turned into such a rancid ball sack.

  12. 2 Chronicles 7:14
    King James Version

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

  13. The Pope is not a Christian. He is like a very religious Pharasee in Christ's day. They were considered the very strict and infallable Jewish leaders. But Christ said to their faces they would go to hell. Because they ignored the truth and set themselves up as "gods" and made a bunch of fake rules and traditions that God rejected as a method to reach him. Catholic traditions will only help you reach hell. There is no purgatory. No limbo. No tran-substantiation (in christ's day it was unclean to touch a dead body - Christ would never have asked the 12 to eat his real dead body thru the sacraments. The 12 would have said it contradicted Jewish laws and walked away. Its symbolic. Not real conversion to body and blood. Catholics are so ignorant. The Pope will end up in hell with the rest of the deceptive Popes.

  14. I'm not meeting with US Secy of State Pompeo because it's just a naked attempt to lure me into their current election.

    Also the Pope....

The politics represented by Pompeo's party should be replaced by the politics of their opponent.

  15. and people like you fools is how the neoliberalism killed the middle class.

  16. I thought the Agitprop group in Moscow was telling you to call American Traditions and Beliefs "Marxism", but apparently you're being told to use "neoliberalism" this Election Cycle, right?

    ReplyDelete
  17. There is no such thing as 'trickle down' economics. It was originally a derisive label for supply-side as opposed to demand-side economic theory but it has come to be what American communists call all free-market economic systems. In their ignorance they do not know any better.

    ReplyDelete
  18. why don't you two go ahead and tell us that USPS should be privatized?

  19. or it douchebag chuck thinking he is brilliant again bc he uses the word Agitprop.

  20. The pope should re-read the 10 commandments. Thou shalt not steal. Socialism is theft.

  22. 7:47 then why are you not mentioning things like the bailout of all that is too big to fail??

How growing income inequality, too big to fail banks, and stock market delusion swindled the American public and dissolved the middle class.

"Professor Wendy Brown argues neoliberalism’s biggest achievement has been to effectively dissolve class solidarity by persuading us to define progress strictly in terms of our individual ability to amass capital or wealth.

Unlike members of the upper class, who can amass wealth simply by manipulating their portfolio of investments, the rest of us have to do it through work. For workers, neoliberalism emphasizes competition, winning and career advancement. Political values such as equality, participatory democracy, unionism and the public good should never get in the way of the mission of what Brown calls “Homo Oeconomicus”, or “Economic Man”."

You and chuck must be the macho economic men and everyone else should worship and suck the balls of your potato salad success.

  23. "Unlike members of the upper class, who can amass wealth simply by manipulating their portfolio of investments, the rest of us have to do it through work."

How do you suppose members of the upper class amassed their wealth? In most cases, by working hard for it.

"Simply by manipulating their portfolio of investments." It is oh so painfully obvious that you have minimal experience, or none at all, in investing. Investment gains are far from automatic, and manipulating investments is more likely to lead to loss than gain.

Educate yourself instead of repeating long ago debunked Marxist talking points.

  24. these are not marxist talking pints you brainless POS. This is about the dysfunction of neoliberalism. the midwest voted for republicans mostly because they were tired of sanctimonious hypocritical morals of democrats, not because of neoliberalism because a majority do not wtf neoliberalism is even though it ass fucks them and entire countries. Do not conflate anti neoliberalism. You going to tell us that wallstreet is such grueling work they deserve the profits they make and the bailouts they get? Just because you toss out the word marxist and try to say i am uneducated doesn't mean shit.

I briefly got to be in the presence of you chuck, you were an asshole in person too.

  25. The separation of church and state is good. Pope should stay out of the business world. Pope should lament the many people the Catholic church burned alive. Some of which are waiting for him, so they can torture him, in hell. The Pope will not be going to heaven.

  26. The Popes used to poison each other to get the job. Great fake religion!
