Kansas Department Of Labor FAILS Again

Right now we take a soul crushing glimpse at the Sunflower Safety net that has DISAPPEARED for quite a few people.

Moreover, this story is worth a look because it puts BOTH SIDES at a disadvantage . . . Our conservative pals are hardly in favor of more government assistance to the working poor BUT the dearth of leadership from the Kansas Democratic Party leader on problematic payouts is simply too obvious to overlook.

Meanwhile, the COVID-19 economic depression continues to hurt Kansas . . . Check-it:

Thousands still struggle with KS Department of Labor for benefits, no end to the mess in sight

FAIRWAY, KS (KCTV) -- Matthew DeWolfe can tell you a thing or two about the Kansas Department of Labor. None of it is good. "It was an average of 150 to 160 calls before I could get through. Hang up. Redial. Hang up. Redial," Matthew DeWolfe said.

  1. Any yet I went on line and had no issues at all. I have since gone back to work and not heard a soul I worked with having any issues either. Is it the scammers who are having trouble getting any benefits? or those who had jobs that didn't pay into the system?

  8. I was entitled to collect the Kansas/federal emergency unemployment. But decided not to. 1. its taxable income. 2. its a pain to get registered if your an independent contractor. 3. It was so short term, it really didnt add up to much. 4. I always keep a 12 month emergency fund and just used it to pay bills. 5. others needed it more than me.

The more you avoid the government and any of their programs the better.
