Kansas City Star Fights Confederacy

This town's so-called paper of record is making sure that the South doesn't rise again whilst continuing to lose subscribers, advertisers and relevance . . . Here's today's big Sunday story reporting on the scintillating deets of  local graveyards.

Take a look  . . .

KC Confederate monuments: Are they appropriate in this day and age?

While one Kansas City monument marks the grave for 15 Confederate soldiers who were disinterred and moved to Union Cemetery, another at Forest Hill & Calvary Cemetery stands tall above soldiers' graves as a memorial to "our Confederate dead."

  1. YES! Like it or not this is history. Besides it's the black people who embrace the confederates. It sure wasn't the confederates who fought for their freedom and privileges like the right to vote and become citizens. So to tear it down doesn't make sense, they would be tearing down the same people they praise and vote for today.

  2. Is the same fag from Kansas that said every time he drove by the statue of the women nurses for the confederacy said he threw up when he drove by it?

  3. So we can’t have statues of Americans who fought in the civil war but we have to have statues and rewrite history for slaves who weren’t even american? I’ve never heard that they were even considered to be American citizens, somebody correct me if I’m wrong.

  4. They weren’t citizens until 1868, well after the civil war and slavery ended.

    1. Neither were your kike family until they got to Ellis Island in 1900 and were let in with no questions asked except their names. But you think you are more American than people here since 1619? You are just an arrogant idiot.

  6. They were Americans that stood up to economic exploitation by the north. Slavery was a side issue it was going away on its own anyway. Check what was going on concerning slavery in the state houses of the south. The north knew it was loosing control and started the war.

  9. They are a part of history and the desire to erase history is purely a communist one. Adults deal with the world as it is. Emotional children just want to make the bad stuff disappear so they don’t have to think about it. We don’t want those people making any decisions and it is stupid to cater to their tantrums like the one they are throwing against confederate monuments right now.
